I was hopeful, as this is within walking distance of our home. Went for breakfast. I have no idea who on earth is posting these 5-star reviews...so I felt it was important to post an honest review. The food was not good...which is sad, considering it was just eggs, bacon, pancakes and a biscuit. The biscuit was stale...wait, isnt this a "bakery?" The most sad part is they do not care enough to clean the place. They have not been open that long, and it is obvious they didnt clean before they opened for business...that level of filth had to have been left over from the previous restaurant. The silverware was filthy...when my husband asked for a new fork because his first one was dirty, he was presented with another dirty fork. The third one was not what we would call restaurant worthy. There were some regulars there, and I have to think they settle for the food to enjoy good conversation with each other and the waitress. The pastries looked good, but we were not willing to take a chance considering the conditions of the dining room...if they dont clean what is visible to their customers, we hate to think what the kitchen looks like.

This place needs help and I mean a lot of help... the first time I went in I wanted something special... I mean it is a bakery right??? Not on your life they had three things in the display area and two looked old and dry so I opted for chocolate covered strawberries... I mean how can you screw that up... I found out when I got back to work and picked one up to find it completely rotten and covered with mold. I called and told them, they did offer to give me a replacement or my money back but as they had already given me two free rotten strawberries I did not want anything else. I decided to give them one more chance... I ordered The Hot Cake Stack or something like that... I ordered ham and got bacon... the pancakes had chunks of flour in them... the bacon was dripping in grease and the scrambled eggs were made from powdered. That was the last chance. Dont go there if you want what you ordered or you want real fresh food.

With the exception of the one honest review below, the rest must all be via the owners or something. This place was FILTHY!!! So so so bad. I cannot stress enough how gross this place was. We walked in, it was so hot, shoes sticking to the floor, and we turned back around and left. Owners please, clean youre establishments. Youre paying employees, right? Why waste your money and lose business. Makes no sense. Seems so simple and logical. Ashamed to say this is an establishment nearby. Will never go again and wouldnt dream of reccomending this filthy mess to anyone! Horrid! I wish I wouldve taken a picture but I left so fast. If I see more good fake reviews Ill make it a point to go back just to take picture and post them here for the public to see. Clean your place up! Serving under these conditions should be a crime!
