I would give this place negative 5 stars if I could. I understand everyone has different experiences. Ive read the reviews and seems most of them are pretty bad. My mom and I went last night. The server was friendly. Buy I mom did not like her steak burrito. She said it was to dry and the taste wasnt great either. She didnt eat it. She told the server she didnt want to pay for it then she explains to us if we dont she will have to!!!! She goes in back and gets the "manager" Zack. He comes to the table rude as ever and says that the steak clearly doesnt look dry. My mom says she is not paying for it and the server isnt either. He says "yes you will and you will get out!!" We kept our composure and we paid only because we didnt want the server to have to pay for something that isnt her fault. Then he stands at the register with a disgusting look on his face watching us until we paid. Ive never in my.life have been treated like that at a restaurant. Zack, you are pathetic and I will tell the world about my experience at gringos!!!!!!

Get ready to eat some Salsa made with canned stewed tomatoes and if you were looking forward to enjoying some Queso, forget about it; they dont do Queso here. The 3 stars is for the atmosphere, service, and customer service, which was astounding. As you can see in the pics, the presentation was beautiful. As far as the taste, the food didnt have much taste. The food was neutral and left to the customer to season it with S&P to taste. Prices are cheap for what its worth. I had a Large Burrito. It wasnt bad, but it had refried beans and large sliced onions. The roasted corn was canned with added green chillies. The guacamole was the processed refrigerated one. The Chimichanga was good except that it had refried beans and, of course, not topped with Queso. Bottom line, I highly doubt I will ever eat here again.

I ate here once, decided to treat myself for my Birthday. Gringos is the perfect name ! Nothing Mexican about it. I cant understand how people rave about this place, obviously they have never been to a real Mexican restaurant! The servings and service, were fine, but the food was very dissappointing, it had no taste whatsoever. The salsa was like eating chopped tomatoes with some green onion on top, had absolutely no flavor. I had a combination plate and the only good thing on it, were the refried beans. Sorry but this ex California thinks people around here have absolutely no idea what real Mexican food tastes like. I might add I have worked as a cook for a good portion of my life. This was simply not up to snuff!

This is our favorite local places to eat for a good price. Great service from people who care. They give you excellent FREE homemade chips and salsa once you sit down. I always get the cheese tacos because Im not a fan of meat and they are always excellent! I also get a side of lettuce and tomatoes and its a good side full plate portion for only $1.29. Food is really great and simple because when you order food you know its quality ingredients and not chemicals. The bottle coke is lower than most places too. A great bonus for us too is that its a quiet place without any TV distractions so my husband and I always can enjoy having conversations with friends and family here. Highly recommend over Taco Bell!

Went there a couple months ago. Just happened by and thought, Mexican sounds good. Well there are no Mexicans here, the "Gringos" must have thought they didnt need them. The Salsa was nothing but Onion soup with some tomatoes sprinkled in. It was the most awful Salsa I have ever had. The tacos were extremely greasy. I am seriously hoping the cook was just having an off day, or I would be hard pressed to figure out why this place is still in business. I will say the people were extremely friendly, (they are obviously oblivious to what good Mexican food tastes like.) I would go to Taco Bell before I ever ate at Gringos again!

Worst Mexican restaurant ever..I wouldnt even give them one star for their service. Food is ehh nothing amazing. They r so rude and I called to place a to go order and they left me on hold for 20 min and I could hear whole conversation. So I went to place to order. (Usually Id give up by now but Im pregnant and am dying for Mexican) they were complaining about the tips Ppl left them, right in front of me which is so tacky. No smiles so damn rude. She told me Ill get to you when I can in a nasty attitude. Im done. Ill never go back. Ill rather drive to Odessa for Vallartas which has better food and service.

I order steak and chicken fajitas to go, BAD idea, steak tasted like pot roast, portion size was deamed for a child. I guess if you order to go and even though you pay the same price you get half the portion size, very very sad, not worth the 9.99 I paid for it, beans were chunky and dry, rice tasted like some one robbed the rice-a-roni truck, tasted pre-made and plain. Nothing spectacular about this joints TO GO. they should stick to jsut serving inside the resteraunt maybe then the customers have half a chance of getting thier dollars worth. As for me never again, just another pasco county one hit wonder.

I am really picky and this food is FRESH amazing. I have tried every mexican restaurant in the area including Estellas and Golden Tequila as well as several others. I have a sensitive stomach and this food agrees with me 100%. They can get quite mobbed but the service was still great. I do take out a lot. I call ahead and they have my order waiting for me. I love love LOVE this food. I ordered Mexican Salad and Tostados, Enchiladas and yummo even talking about this is making my mouth water! Try for yourself. I agree with Justin, I cant find another place that makes food this good.

Disgusting. Just dont do it. Literally have never written a restaurant review ever but it was the worst restaurant experience Ive had. The service was bad, my drink was never refilled. The mango burrito consisted of nothing but mushy brown mango and rubbery pre-cooked chicken and the tortilla was mush. We could barely cut the chicken and it was hard to chew, but not because it was overcooked. It was just rubber. The waitress was waving around a receipt to get rid of flies. I am actually mad we paid.

Worst "Mexican" food Ive had in my life! The waitress was really nice but the food was so terrible I feel like I should have been paid to eat it. I ordered a CARNE ASADA burrito and was served some type of flavorless stewed beef with stewed tomatoes in a bland tomato based sauce which turned the tortilla to mush. It tasted like it was straight out of the can. The tortilla chips were stale and the salsa tasted awful. ZERO stars. Dont waste your time.

Literally the worst Mexican my boyfriend and I have ever eaten. I love Mexican and have had it At countless establishments. This place was downright disgusting. We paid (though we should have fought it) without continuing to eat it. Even the tortilla chips were terrible! They left a strange bad aftertaste. I rarely bother to leave bad reviews... But This place was too horrible to let slide. I wont be surprised when this place closes for good.
