I love this place and my wife and I frequent this place about once a week. We get a bowl of queso dip which is excellent and my wife always gets the pollo con crema which is awesome as well. Service is always fast and friendly and the atmosphere is quiet. We came from Ohio which had a ton of good Mexican restaurants but theyre hard to come by in Florida for some reason. We drove by this dive multiple times saying wed never eat at a budget inn Mexican restaurant but we caved in after reading reviews and decided to give it a shot. Dont let looks fool u this place is great. Sometimes the meat can be a little salty and Ive tried most of the menu and will say there are things I didnt like but Id say 90% of what I tried was really good. This place is inexpensive with most meals with a drink running under $10 for dinner and u can eat lunch for $5. The homemade salsa and chips are in my top 5 Ive ever tried and Ive tried a lot (Ive visited 50+ Mexican place easy). If u want good Mexican food thats inexpensive with good service go here. Carmilltas that "won" awards near Nuevo Vallartas was overpriced, small serving, not that authentic, and not all that good in general ( cost me $70 for 3 ppl and we were still hungry afterwards) Best Mexican Ive found in the Tampa bay area.

We are hispanics and have eaten in many Mexican Restaurants. This place was the worse place of all. The only good thing they had was the shrimps with a meal, everything else was of bad taste. The food they serve is not authentic mexican, tejano, california or whatever they want to say it is from. It seems this restaurant was opened to fool those people that actually dont know much about mexican food. The tamales, tacos, enchiladas, etc that we purchased was blend, didnt seem to be cooked right, etc. We had to exchange a full plate and my wife left almost all her food on the plate because of the taste of the food. I purchased a shrimp salad which they gave to me on a flour shell and it contained not good tasting shrimps on the bottom covered with a little coat of lettuce, guacamole and for this I had to pay $8.95. This place is a rip off. Just in case, even though the food was not to our like, I had to pay for everything I asked for, even if it wasnt good and even if we complaint to the waiter.

No complaints here. I was planning on going to Señor Taco but I forgot that they were closed on Mondays so I checked my Yelp bookmarks and I remembered that I wanted to try this place. Dont be discouraged by the location, as you can see with the majority of the reviews, the food is worth the location. To me, my quesadilla tasted very similar to Estelas in Gateway near the Publix and the Ibis Walk shopping center. Like others said in their reviews for here, the corn chips were very good and fresh. The guacamole was also very good - very plain and simple but thats the day I personally like the guacamole. As of writing this review, Ive only been here once but plan to return...

A humble little hole in the wall, adjacent to the Bayside Motel right off U.S. 19. This place has great food(Authentic/Tex-Mex), friendly service, great prices(especially during lunchtime!), and plenty of parking!! Always open until 9pm except on sundays when they close before 5pm. Hard/soft tacos! Enchiladas! GIANT burritos! Nachos! And delicious chiles rellenos! Are all part of the yummy selections of Mexican fare this place has to offer! Enjoy amigos!

Wonderful friendly service & they are on point making sure you have everything you need such as refilling your drinks before you are empty. Food is fantastic! Have 2 young boys that are very picky & love this place. You also get very large portions of food! We definitely will be going back very frequently. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone that loves true authentic Mexican food.

My wife and I have been coming here every other month for about 10 years. Always great food and not too expensive. Every new mexican place that comes along I compare to this one, and so far none match the value. You have to get past the fact it is in a shady motel, but it is clean and safe and delicious. They recently started closing weekdays at 7:30 pm so you need to chose it early.

Lunch take out Arroz con Pollo - comes with a Guac Salad and Tortilla Wraps to make your own Tacos - definitely a family recipe, most delicious, yet unlike any other arroz con pollo ive ever had. great deal for the money, and chips are salsa are the real deal! Thank you! Ill be back for a taco salad. the rice and queso blend is so delicious!

My family and I eat here about every month and a half. The waitress still knows us and what we order. Actually...the owner took our order last time and HE knew our order which I thought was funny. Really nice people, GREAT food, good atmosphere. It really surprises you because of the location, but this is truly a great place, check it out!

For some reason the best Mexican restaurants are usually attached to a motel?????? This place has great authentic Mexican and the prices are outstanding. The portions are HUGE, and the menu is varied. I like the chips and salsa which can make or break a Mexican place for me. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

I wasnt impressed at all, area was questionable (connected to a budget inn) :( the atmosphere was of odd individuals wandering around from the budget inn, lack of exceptional customer service (mediocre at best), food quality and quantity was lacking, so much so that our waitress commented that it was unauthentic and lacking

We needed a quick bite to eat while waiting to get new tires put on our car, so we did a quick Google search & this place popped up so we decided to call an Uber and give it a try. To our surprise, it was amazing!! Everything was fresh & the portion sizes were incredible! I would go out of my way to visit this place again!

We have finally found our new place to grab a bite of Mexican food! Fairly priced, and food was great. The staff was extremely nice, and made sure we were well taken care of. We will continue to go back. On a side note, I am fluent in Spanish and never heard them talking about the customers.....LOVE THIS PLACE!!! :D

Dont let the appearance outside fool you, this place is legit, having spent 4 years in El paso Texas you get that taste for authentic Mexican food and this restaurant delivers in big flavor and big portions, only thing I would change is the amount of guacamole, sour cream, and tomatoes they serve with your food.

Great all the way! - driving by we decided to stop after reading some reviews and no kidding! Chips and salsa are delicious! We came during lunch and so it was decently busy but the service was great and the food didnt take forever like some other places. Found our New Mexican place. Carne asada is a must!

Wow, The food here is beyond awesome! It is very authentic and delicious. The quantity of this awesome food is generous. As for the service, well they are very professional and right there for the customers. I am very happy going there and plan on continuing to go and enjoy their food.
