WORST MARGARITAS - AND A PUBIC HAIR IN MY RICE! Went for dinner at 7:30 pm with my husband and daughter last Sunday. There were only two other tables so it was slow. The server acted annoyed by us from the start. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas and it was so strong it was hard to drink. The waiter brought us out regular glasses instead of margarita glasses and when I asked him if he could bring us salted margarita glasses he said they didnt have margarita glasses. I directed his attention to the table across from us who were all drinking from margarita glasses and he said they didnt have enough for everyone in the restaurant (there was maybe 8 other people there). My pork tips came out as shredded pork and tasted blah. I only ate the refried beans...THANK GOD! My husband packed up my left overs and we took them home for him. The next day he went to warm them up for lunch and there was a PUBIC HAIR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RICE!!!!!!!!! This was definitely a pubic hair. I dont recommend anyone to patron this place!!!! No telling what else they did to our food. We are so disgusted!!!! Is this really how the employees treat customers that asked for margarita glasses for their margaritas????

My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. Great food and a good house margarita. However, we went on Cinco de Mayo (last night) well after the crowd was gone and there were only a few people left in the restaurant. We were immediately seated. When my margarita came, it was served in a plastic cup and no salt. It was obviously pour well ahead of time and ice added when they served it. The food was great as always but took eons to get to the table - and did I mention the restaurant was not busy as it was close to 10 pm. I felt the management was slacking on this festive day. There was an obnoxious table that was so loud that we could not enjoy our dinner. Their voices were heard over everything and the language was a bit...well, not very family friendly. Several of us in the table commented on their lack of a volume control. The management should have asked them to keep it down as it was really one of the worst I had ever endured - and I am not a spring chicken. They should have shined on Cinco de Mayo and they bombed! We will go back again....maybe.

Nothing to write home about. Service was good, but the salsa and the hidden peppers in the chicken enchiladas were very spicy and they were not mentioned on the menu in the description. I got the four enchiladas, they were alright, but the large spicy peppers in the chicken made it very hard to eat. Also they have a lot of small up charges if you want adequate condiments, such as sour cream. Beef by itself was rather bland, needed more seasoning and so was the chicken.

A nice place, but the service was kind of slow. I had the Super Burrito Loco, and it was one of the largest burritos Ive ever had. Burrito seemed very well priced, but our appetizer (a chorizo cheese dip) seemed quite overpriced. Everything tasted good, I really liked the table salsa. I will probably come back next time Im in the area.

Great food and great service! I really liked this place, they did not overdo the decorations inside. Someplaces get a little crazy with to much stuff on the walls. If you like beans and rice you will love this place. They were the absolutely best I have has.

Just okay. Ordered the vegetarian fajitas and queso and a margarita but the flavors were dull from the fajitas to the salsa to the guacamole on the plate. Everything was just "meh". A little cilantro, lime, and/or jalapeño could / would go a long way.

Recently remodeled, so pay no attention to the posts that they have closed. Just enjoyed my favorite dish Cheese Steak Burrito dinner. Absolutely love this place, my favorite place to get my favorite type of food. A++++ bean dip.

They changed name so I thought maybe had new owners and would give it a try. It is even worse than the previous place! A shame because when first opened several years back it was yummy. Now is yucky. Yuck. Yuck.

Non impressive food, it was served super hot but flavors just werent there. Everything tasted scorched or burnt and way over salted. Cant say I will be back, too much wrong to deserve a 2nd chance.

Johann and I had lunch here this afternoon. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The chips were fresh, the salsa was tasty, and the food was not too spicy. I highly recommend Zapatas

El Paso no longer exists. Zapatos has taken over. The food is mediocre at best. Theyre still using El Pasos menu. The service is horrific. I doubt this restaurant will last long.
