I am not sure what burger guy is talking about, we were there March 16. As usual, service was awesome. Food was great, my kids, three teen boys, filled their bellys well. Two things, they need to label what is what and when i asked if they would be nice enough to sing and embarrass my 14 year old because it was his bday, the waittress said no. It would have been awesome to embarrass him, but whatever. We had a blast. THEY EVEN HAD SUGAR FREE STUFF which is very very important to us now that my mom, 75, is a diabetic. We go once a year after strawberry fest and we will continue to go every year. Wish there was one closer to us. My glass was NEVER empty and neither was the boys.

VERY Dissapointed! Took someone special there, for ther very special sothern meals, and was WAY let down. NO Bar-b Q ribs, Freid chicken was dry, and had been sitting a while, teh food was not what I had been eating at Buddy Freddiys in years past. and worst of all NONE of the buffet foods or salad dressing were marked. My special friend put "tarter sauce" on her salad thinking it was lumpy blue cheese! Serv ice was excellent, but food was disapointed, I wondered about "sonnys bar-b-q new next door, now I know why. aint no bar-b-q at Buddy Freddys in Plant City.

Very expensive ($38 for two and for crappy food.... really??) Someone here also mentioned they got sick.... so did my wife just after a few bits. There was no variety and what they did have was not very good. The service also sucked along with the cashier who was extremely rude.... Its Golden Corral from now on, we try to support local businesses but we will never return to this place again.... so very disappointed!

Absolutely the best experience at a restaurant. The food was to DIE for! The place was clean as could be. They have strawbery butter... Home made! Never had it before, but I made sure to walked out with a "to-go" cup full of the freshly made butter! If there is one bad thing I would have to mention about the place... It would simply be to replace the carpets. To many stains. Otherwise it was amazing!

I absolutely love this place. I have been many many times recently and the food is always awesome with a very nice selection. Breakfast is always delish! There is plenty of seating and to the person below.. Its a country home style restaurant.. That is exactly how its set up! I love it. Never feels crowded!

The salad bar was good,though small. I went to eat a second plate and the macaroni and cheese actually made me sick . I had to go throw up just from a few bites. Then the cashier had an attitude from hell. And it cost more that other restaurants that are far better. We will never go back.

Came for breakfast but was late thank goodness cause the lunch was awesome. Great southern cooking and I mean everything green beans, squash, cabbage, different kinds of chicken, pot roast and everything else on the buffet. What a way to start my day. Thank you Buddy Freddys.

We had a family get together at the Plant City location on Saturday Oct. 13, 2007 and I and at least 4 others in our party got some type of food poisoning. I personally was very ill for 12 hours straight and at about 24 hours still felt a little sick. I will never go back!

We were going to Sonnys BarBQ but went next door to BuddyFreddys and were very glad we did. It was a buffet only and was $8.00 each. The food looked extremely fresh and clean. Every food item we ate was delicious. I could seriously over eat there. Thanks BuddyFreddy!

The buffet is always hot and fresh. The staff is very friendly and down home. Parking can be tricky but there is plenty. They have plenty of seating as well. They do have waits on Sunday afternoons. Also in the mornings while the Strawberry Festival is in town.

Really great comfort food.. Loved the catfish, sweet potatoes, and rolls. The strawberry butter was delicious. Too full for desserts this time, but they looked good. Only downside, most of the buffet items werent marked. Would definitely go here again.

The foods pretty food. The fried fish seemed a little stale. Good selection of vegetables. The price, I think, is a little higher than their competitors nearby. Make sure you ask the server for bread because it is not placed at the buffet.

I visited on Saturday and was a bit disappointed in interior décor. The food was pretty tasty but I cant say the same for the desserts which looked dry and old. But overall I was pleased with taste of meats and vegetables that I consumed.

I thought the best fried chicken I had ever eaten was Shady Springs in North Carolina. Not any more. I have been here various times and the food is fresh and always consistent. Drive from Daytona Beach to have dinner every chance I get.

Not a bad little place to stop in and eat. Sonshyne was a very sweet waitress. Food was good comfort food. Fried chicken was amazing! Everything was good that we ate. The only thing missing were some chicken gizzards.

they serve good home cooked meals, really nice salad bar, and brunch on Sundays. Service is fast and friendly, easy to park close to front door. The decor was interesting, and we found the bathrooms clean.

Be sure that you are hungry when you go here. The buffet is truly amazing. I often avoid buffets, but when I meet friends here, we go back several times. My all-time favorite is the fried chicken.
