Really good food served by someone who genuinely cares more about your meal rather then their next text or phone call.. Cynthia was my server and she takes excellent care of her guests! There are no ridiculous piercings, tattoos, vaping or smoking going on here. It is evident the store is managed by someone who takes their employment seriously. Great deserts at reasonable prices. Hot fudge cake served without enduring a visit to Shoneys.. Stop begging Pizza Hut to deliver a pizza you may or may not get. Forget Marcus Gulf Pizzas dirty kitchen.. 31.95 plus tax, a drink and a tip after an hour wait at Captain Andersons? Good grief, please... Cross the bridge and eat at PoFolks, its absolutely worth it!

Fantastic fried chicken! It was hot, crispy and very tasty. And this was 3 pm! Wife reports she enjoyed her country fried steak. Corn bread could have been a little more tasty but that could have been personal bias. Service was friendly and fast. Price was a little high but not awful. Probably cheaper than a lot of other theme restaurants. I recommend!

Very poor service I realize we came very close to closing time but I still feel there was no excuse for the type of service that we got food was under average all at all Ill probably never go back to that Po Folks which is sad because my last experience prior to this one was excellent I might give it another chance but I doubt it

Very dissatisfied. Tonight i ordered food to go and was told it was a 15 minute wait so 30 minutes passed i asked about my order and low n behold the cashier never entered my order in P.O.S.system but i paid. Hmmmmmm one hungry pissed off woman and not even an apology..

Cute decor and homey feel as soon as you step in! Dottie was such a sweet greeter. The chicken was absolutely delicious, as were the mashed potatoes & gravy, baked beans, and the kids favorite: the breadsticks! Just wish we had one closer to us!

We used to have one in Pensacola but it closed for tax reasons. This place was my favorite growing up and whenever I go to panama I make a point to eat here and get some fried green tomatoes with homers dressing. Its just good southern food.

Found a hair in my red beans and rice that goodness it was my first bite they took 3 dollars off my meal I couldnt eat after I found the hair I have blond hair it was a long black hair yuck

We had a Po Folks in Dothan, Alabama but for some crazy reason they closed it, but the one in Panama City is a close second to the one they had in Dothan. We love it ....
