Junk food We travel from New York and try to find a place to have congee, we see the rating is 4 stars and up , so we call to ask if the have congee, and the ladies who answer the phone says we have the best congee in Orlando ( oh my god ). Let me tell you I am Chinese and This place is worst Chinese food that I ever have in my life ( I am 50) even worse than those Chinese take out, junk food, even the simplest boiled vegetables cant even do it right, my 12 year old son cook better than this. 1. Singapore noodles, two color?? What d hell? 2. Congee, thick and sticky which means didnt cook long enough. 3. Roast pork dry and hard it doesnt taste like roast pork. 4. Boiled vegetable, look the photo ugly and dry. 5. The white noodle in the soup, some of the noodles is hard which means didnt cook long enough. I hate wasted food but we really cant eat this, that is how bad it is. Go somewhere else dont waste your money. 太難吃了。去別處吧!別浪費錢了。

I happened to be in the area and heard about this place so I tried it. Not a fancy place in terms of décor but the food was the best Chinese food I have eaten. The waitresses were not terribly friendly but service was efficient and fast. Chinese is my least favorite of the Asian food restaurants but now I see why. The others are fakes compared to this place and it is easy to determine the difference between quality, fresh food and the trash that is so common everywhere else. I dont think I can eat at another Chinese restaurant/take out after eating here because now I realize how bad they are. Too bad I live about 35 minutes away! I cant wait to go back. Its funny that the only bad review for this restaurant, comes from a guy who never ate there. LOL. Trust me and the others; this place is awesome. I just ate there again today and the food is in another class.

This place is fantastic. From the food to its staff. Walked in for the 1st time and was greeted by the owner. The food is authentic with a little American flare. Was able to meet the chef who prepares everything daily. We ordered the Beef Chow Fun. The noodles might be the best Ive eaten in Orlando. The Salt and Pepper ribs are simply amazing, great dry rib. The meals are easily shareable which helps even the cost. You really can taste the freshness in the food. Rice is next stale. No reheated foods and when the cook leaves the meals are done. If they run out they wont cook anymore which makes the crispy ribs hard to get. But, I appreciate the freshness. The Boba smoothies are great too and very well priced. Not too pricey but not an every day place. If youre hungry and wanting authentic Chinese food. This is the spot to go.

The food is tasty and fresh and the service was great. My first time there one of the owners greeted my party and I, and was so charismatic and genuine. EVERYTHING is fresh, so once they run out of something they prep like meat, its 86ed until they make it FRESH the next day. They also do a 10% discount for frequent customers, they call it a vip card, its free and requires no sign up. They close at 9:30 but if the chef is still there they will most likely still serve you. This place is so dope the restaurant owners in the area go there when they close their places. Oh God, the noodles... dont get me started lol definitely a must visit!

Be brave and enter the world of the unknown. Walking into this restaurant is like in the old Chinese movies. Door opens, everyone looks up, stares, mumbles, back down to the bowl in front of them. Most of the sit down diners are older Asians. If it is good enough for them, I am definitely eating here. The food is authentic and plentiful. Roast duck and pork were amply crispy, succulent, and flavorful. Fried rice was nicely seasoned and cooked well. There is a large variety of authentic Chinese dishes here that may or may not suit the average palate. Nice adventuresome little place, taste the real deal. No frills here.

This little hole in the wall is such a GEM! Not your fancy place at all, though a total 5 star restaurant when it comes to the food and service! We went with friends after a long day at Universal, we probably had like 10 different dishes and each one was just as delicious as the next. Their Garlic ribs...ughhhhh to DIE for! We told ourselves that each time we go, we will order the same things, though add a dish that we saw someone else get, cause it just looked so good. Just look how many great ratings are here!!! GO THERE AND TRY IT!

just lost two potential customers. Actually, 7. There were exactly 3 parties (two other groups and us) waiting outside for a table at this very busy place. We waited calmly because we figured it must be good since it was so busy. In walked a couple, walked to the back of the restaurant, talked to some folks and immediately were seated. The restaurant doesnt advertise that reservations are needed. We walked away in disgust, and the other two couples walked away right behind us. Fools. Wont be going back there again!

I got the duck over rice and initially had high expectations based on overall reviews. When it arrived, I immediately saw there was way too much rice, like 3/4 rice with the remaining quarter being duck and vegetable. The duck skin had a nice color, crisp, and taste, but the meat itself barely had the distinctive duck taste. The bones were also chopped haphazardly, which made some mouthfuls a pain to pick out the bits of bones from meat. Ill try something else next time to see if I simply had a bad experience today.

My Mom is from Taiwan - she doesnt ask to go to any other Chinese restaurant. The food - authentic and "delicious" (Mom says so!, and so do we), ample servings, fresh. The service - friendly, theyll answer any questions you have, make suggestions for dishes from your description of what youd like, serve quickly - hot and fresh - and they remember you every time you go in...the personal attention is very pleasing. Ask for the "white" fried rice...try the meats with a vegetable side - our personal favorite!

We have been coming here an average 2 times a month for the past two years and we can not get enough of this place. My partner usually gets beef with pan fried noodle and I get noodle soup with beef stew all of which are items I get for take out and just became an addiction. If you like bok choy they both will have them. I like the flavor of both these dishes. Goes really good with the spicy oil. Today I got the wonton soup which comes with shrimp dumpling and trying out their duck. YUMMY!
