Food is always great! Cooked perfectly and priced extremely reasonable. Service/Staff at this location is it weak point. Staff at this location seems to be unsupervised. All young staff members that are more interested in socializing with each other or watching the game on the televisions. The staff curses regularly on the floor well within ear shot of customers. Our waitress was absentee, she showed up to get our food/drink order and then once again when we flagged her down for our check. Place was not busy at all with more empty tables then full and with at least 15 staff standing around. Our waitress couldnt even be bothered to total up our check. If you want the same amazing food but with service, I recommend the Lady Lake location.

I really like this place and have been eating here for a little over 12 years. The food and service have always been good. Excellent sides. I took away a star because in the last year the quality of food has dropped a bit in my opinion. I always got the 3 meat combo with the smoked sausage as one of the meats and they have changed to a brand I really didnt like. Weird metallic taste, the casing was tough and it had kind of a grayish cast to it. I thought it may have been an emergency substitution but on my next visit I got the same sausage. Other than that I give this place high marks.

10/2014~~In the area from PA looking at retirement communities. We stayed at the Holiday Travel Resort. This is about a mile south of Holiday. Delicious food but the service stunk! Server (female) was too busy restocking condiments. Hubby asked for water (he had none) and she said shed be there in a minute which turned out to be closer to 8 minutes. (there went her tip) We had bbq pork and chicken. Pork is much better. Sides were good...sweet potato fries the best (and xtra $$). Worth a stop!

Nothing special... chicken is almost ALWAYS over cooked and dry.. the Ribs are decent but better elsewhere... Not a bad place for a quick lunch but youre not going to impress out of town friends (Especially if they are from NC) by taking them to this place. The staff however on the other hand is always super nice and treat people well..... 3 stars is where I draw the line on this one....

We had a great server but for a vegetarian this is not the place to go. This is where my uncle wanted to eat so this is where we went. The broccoli cheddar soup was pretty good but the salad, mostly, if not all iceberg lettuce, was just decent, its not much more expensive to romaine and spinach but for some weird reason most restaurants only use iceberg.

Friendly and quick service with a relaxed feel and great atmosphere. Went with friends and they love this place so they brought us there and we return. Seems like everything on the menu is delish but of course the specialty are their ribs and then the pork slices and the sides are great choices.

Were visiting from Ohio and have eaten dinner here twice this week! The ribs & pulled pork are amazing and the service is second to none! Mr. "Alley cat" Brown made our delicious meal even more memorable, especially for our 8 year old son- the rib lover!!!

The food quality has went way down this year. On our most recent visit the ribs I was served were still cold. The staff is absolutely horrible, no sense of direction or care. I wouldnt recommend anyone returning to this location.

When I crave BBQ, I crave Oakwood. But I can only speak for their ribs, I have not tried other entrees. Their sides are also tasty, I usually go with double order of their collards. If you want quality ribs, go here.
