Great barbacue! The sweet sauce is the best I have ever eaten. Bake beans are perfect, the Cole slaw has apple pieces with a slite vinigrette. Wow! Call ahead make sure they are not sold out. What impressed me one year ago when I first visited with my crew was the one hundred or so of trophys, banners, ribbons of cookout championships from all over the south. As far as I am concerned this is "Polk Citys" best kept secret. Price is a little higher than say Sonnys, but no comparison on food value per dollar. Small, but inviting. Nice selection of comfort food for a good price. I got a three meat combo meal with potato salad and collard greens. It was ok. The potato salad and collard greens tasted home made, which is great. And the cornbread is made with real corn and was awesome! But the meat, the whole purpose of the restaurant, is less than stellar. My pulled pork and brisket was swimming in water.

Used to be great. Since opening they now boil their ribs and are too light on the seasoning. Also, no smoke flavor. These guys know how to cook in competition. Im not sure why they dont transfer that skill to their Cooks in the restaurant.

Incredible pork spare ribs! The way this place is hidden away in Polk City is a crime against America and the owners should be brought up on charges. Cheesy hashbrowns are bangin too!

Steak was over cooked,only one beer in the the hole store but the Mac and cheese was great,.. cant believe I got the last beer in the the place,for 15 dollars.. very disappointed..

Great place for BBQ! A hidden Gem! We came rom the Van Fleet trail and stopped by..... The corn bread melts in you mouth! We will be back!
