The atmosphere was pretty nice, but not as pretty as most that Ive been to. The waitress seemed to be disengaged and barely could muster a hello. No friendly service the evening we were there, despite the fact that there were very few customers. We waited quite a while for the main courses. When they did arrive the wait staff basically threw them down and hurried off without comment. The food presentation was ordinary and was served in some plain looking bowls. The Panang curry was watery and lacked the robust flavor one would expect. I will try this restaurant again to see if our first experience there was a fluke, but if its the same we wont be back.

The food and service is OK. We went there on a Saturday. Many people were already there. We ordered one appetizer: crispy tofu. Its all right. Its fried plain tofu with sweet and sour sauce. The sauce is tasty. Each of us ordered duck soup (actually it is duck noodle soup), fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, veggie tofu, and green curry. We shared our food a little bit. We are think the fried rice and green curry are better than the other three. Maybe it is just our preference. The price is a little expensive. (P.s. Each entry comes with either a salad or a soup.) Each person would spend around $15~17.

Wonderful Thai cuisine, nice atmosphere with attentive owner always making sure that the patrons are comfortable and enjoying their meal. He gladly adjusts menu selections to accommodate particular tastes as requested. Wait staff is superb, always informative and super friendly. Our favorite servers are Sara and Christine, not to belie the fact that all of the the servers are terrific at all times. We have brought friends to this special place and they have always applauded our selection of this relaxing oasis to enjoy great food and not feel hurried.

Our first time at Ayuttaya but it wont be the last. The staff was attentive and helped with the selection of our meal. We had one of the best dinners in a while. Our meal started with the Spring Rolls, for an appetizer, then my wife had the Pompano, and I the Snapper, both were done in spicy sauces with a mix of vegetables. The occasion was to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we hoped the decision would not disappoint, it did not, it exceeded our expectation.

Absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is great, the service is timely and friendly, and the food is delicious! I have never had anything less than a great experience here. Ive been at least a dozen times. Anyone visiting from out of town gets taken here for dinner. In my opinion it is the best restaurant in Ocala. Ive tried many dishes (no seafood) and they have all been fantastic. The "Chicken Bang Bang" is my favorite! The prices are $10+ for the entrees.

Our favorite restaurant. They serve great Thai food, have a wonderful, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. They accommodate our small children fairly well. Ive been going here for years, long before i got married. I love their garlic pepper chicken, but everything Ive had there is wonderful. Definitely try the tom kha gai soup, and they have a delicious sauce with their spring rolls. The cashew chicken and yellow curry chicken are both tasty.

Very bad experience. We were with a party of 4 and when 3 meals were served, the 4th arrived after 10 minutes. The amounts of meat were way too little for enjoyments. The noodles were one big ball of slimy substance. But the worst part was a very long strand of hair in the food, DISGUSTING!!! Apologies were hardly made and for meal adjustments we had to pay extra!!! We will NEVER go back there again.

This place is awesome! This place offers a more authentic Asian fare compared to the typical US versions. I have been here several times and it has never disappointed. If you are looking for a recommendation then I would suggest the Green Curry - Hot; but I hear the duck is great too. There are just too many options on the menu for one visit! This is a must dine place in Ocala.

This is my third time change my reviews. Last years I gave them 3 stars, but now this is my favorite Thai restaurant in Ocala area. Roasted duck noodle soup and fried rice are awesome. Staffs there are so friendly and helpful. Now I come there almost one time each week. But if they can offer more rice in the fried rice, it will be perfect.

I am a Celiac, which means that I cant eat at many places without fear of cross contamination of gluten. Not only is the food always amazing and served as works of arts, but most of their menu can be ordered gluten free. Even my toddler enjoys the menu here. Best fried tofu in town! Their soups and drunken noodle are mouthwatering.

Everything was great. I had a Thom Yum soup and a red curry, and Id say they were as good any Thai food Ive had. The service was helpful, friendly, and attentive. Nice decor and relaxed atmosphere, with soft Asian music playing. As a bonus, the hot tea came in a big, incredibly heavy iron tea pot (although it was $2.50 per person).

This is our go-to date restaurant! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the food always tastes fresh and amazing! You can customize how spicy you want your food to be, which is great. Everything there wont burn your mouth off. :) I just WISH I could cook like this, so I wouldnt crave it all the time! Lol

Good atmosphere. Very nice owner and staff. Shrimp tempura is delicious. Love the dumplings. Their house salad with peanut dressing is so refreshingly crisp. Chicken Bang Bang so yummy. Good food, reasonable prices. Great selection of authentic Thai food. Ive never had a bad meal there.

Nice atmosphere, friendly efficient service and over the top food. I had the grouper with red curry served Thai hot and my husband ordered (spicy) hot panang curry shrimp. Both dishes were ample and truly scrumptious. We thoroughly enjoy coming here.

The food is great. The service is usually great too, but has been pretty shaky a few times. Overall I love this place, but waitresses getting orders wrong and ignoring us for a whole night has left a bit of a bad taste and reduced my love a bit.

Ill be eating Thai food for years, every place I visit, this place its not good. Tomkha coconut sup to por taste and condiments , pineapple duck not good, poor service, thai ice tea not good, :( Im sorry but you need a lot to improve.

This was the best Thai restaurant Ive ever been to! The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was very classy. The red curry was exceptional. We stopped to eat in Ocala on our way down to Tampa Bay, not expecting such a treat!

So-so. I seek out Thai wherever I go, and the bell curve means most are only ok, and this is average, to slightly below average, flavors just weak, watered down. Been there three times, a fourth is unlikely.
