Its not a fancy, gourmet style Chinese restaurant. It is not a fancy, gourmet style Japanese restaurant. But it is a tremendously delicious Chinese/Japanese restaurant. Hubs and I stumbled in there one day and were so happy to see two of our faves from Boston style food - Chow Fun (wide rice noodles) and Scallion Pancakes. So we ordered them and it was the VERY BEST Asian food we have eaten in twelve years of being in SWFL. We love Egg Fu Yung and they made it to order, crispy and loaded with veggies and pork, with no gravy. Their steamed chicken and veggies taste so fresh and the veggies have a snap, still crisp. I went there for sushi lunch several times (OMG, the salmon!!! And the sweet potato roll is so good) and decided to throw Hubs a surprise 70th. Judy, the owner, worked with me, helped me order and make a menu that included sushi platters for each table, appetizers all around, and family dining for main course. She graciously invited us to bring our own dessert for which she provided serving pieces and plates. There were 23 of us at the dinner and all said they would be coming back on their own. Were going for Mothers Day tonight, and though the inside is kind of retro Chinese and the food is far from fancy or schmansy, it is fresh, well-prepared and pleasantly served. And it is WAY BETTER than any other Asian food we have ventured to taste in Fort Myers.

Ordered delivery. Got basic dinner of chicken fried rice and general tsos chicken. Lets just say I couldnt even eat it. The General tsos was some gelatinous red sauce with no flavor, the chicken itself was hard, dried, almost like beef jerky and shredded when I tried to bite into it. Next, I tried the chicken fried rice which is hard to mess up; so I thought. It was basically plain white rice with a TON of uncooked onions. I mean there was a chunk of about a quarter of an onion clearly not cut. When I tried to eat this food I gagged. Therefore, I let them know and of course theres nothing they can do but make me a new order which is the last possible thing I want. Maybe going inside the place might not serve you onions with a side of rice but delivery wise, just put your phone back into your pocket.

We have gotten takeout there 4 or five times.....never again. General Tsao chicken had no chicken (no exaggeration)....just balls of fried dough. Boneless ribs were 75% fat. I ate about 3 pieces of the "chicken " and then cut up the rest to see if I could find any chicken....I could not. I felt extremely bloated and physically lousy afterward as if I had overeaten , I believe it was heavily loaded with preservatives .The place also smells bad. Previous to this food was good, service is good still, but to me it looks as if they dont do enough business so they are skimping on quality to stay afloat. I dont ever write reviews but when Im in the mood for Chinese I dont like to be disappointed and I certainly was.

Placed an order for delivery spoke to 3 people to confirm my order. Specified to all 3 my gf would like the roll tempuraed(fried) and with spicy mayo. Order came with no spicy mayo. Roll was raw and received no wares in which to eat food with chopsticks or anything. Bag was stapled three times lady argued on the phone with me saying I have to ask for for plastic ware (asked for spicy mayo mind you yet not received) to get get told her that this isnt satisfactory and not what I was told am waiting for silverware to arrive atm. If I could give zero stars I would. Thanks a lot ken. Owner referred me to this place. If you want Chinese got to publix. Sushi go to Osaka you will more than surely enjoy your experience.

We were disappointed. Starting with sweet tea which was powdered tea to the mediocre food. Having been to China I would expect excellent tea not powdered. The food was not as fresh or flavorful as it could have been. Fort Myers now has great food options such as pho fresh and China bistro, both top notch flavorful fresh food choices. The only thing i would give 5 stars was how friendly the staff was. Very lovely ladies. But please improve the quality of the food.

Occasionally I like my food without the vegetables. I ordered my food that way and because I am a little heavy set the cashier that took my order felt it necessary to tell me to eat healthier because I am to big. I have never been more embarrassed in my life I wouldve simply walked out had I not already paid for my food this was the worst experience Ive ever had and I will never return to this restaurant.

I recently ordered a bourbon chicken from this place and as I ate it I doubled over and started to vomit. At least it woke me up long enough to do more homework. lol. The only real reason why I am leaving this review is to warn people of the chicken, and that calling them I was rushed off the phone. YMMV. Good luck.

Tasty! Their food tastes very fresh and isnt overly gooey and saucy like some others. Weve tried a few different dishes now and havent been disappointed yet. The egg rolls are the only things that are so-so. The service is also nice and quick and the workers are polite.

The raving reviews are confusing. Warm Food was standard at best. Sushi was awful, and Im far from a sushi snob. Portions were small. Bathrooms smell like rotten fish. Fortune cookies were stale. Second star is for polite service.

The service was horrible, came in for all you can eat sushi and the waitress acted like she didnt want to let us order more than a few rolls. The place smelled and the sushi was sub-part

Rude to customers... wonton soup was good ... but overall very unhappy with the cleanliness and neatness of restaurant and they were rude to two separate customers while we were eating
