Restaurant has been there a long time. Since the other tepan restaurant had just got a really bad review from one of their long time patrons because of cockroaches and a rude new manager we decided to try Fujiyama. Walked in at 5:10 and "The Hostess" looked at the 3 of us and snarled do you have a reservation. As she looked at her reservation book, we could see that there were not any names until after 5:30. she seated us and did not even say a word. The wait staff was good, chef was pleasant, the food was not good quality. I really do not like warm salad doused in "ginger" dressing. Maybe people visiting Naples think this is great, but when you are use to quality Japanese food, this is not the place. The restaurant was busy when we left, graduations and parties. Hostess applying makeup as we left. we will never give this place a "hey it was great"., sadly it wasnt.

I guess I am spoiled by the Japanese steakhouse (JSH) back home because this one was not great at all. First of all they only had one type of salad dressing where as most JSHs offer at least three because not everyone eats ginger. Second I asked for mustard sauce like I always do and was told not enough people ask for it so they dont offer it. Third we had to pay extra for the rice to be fried on the table since we didnt want a steamed bowl of white rice, usually the fried rice from the table is customary and not an extra charge! The chef messed up my brothers order even though we were 2 feet from him and told him how to prepare it. The service was fine so no complaints there and the chef was friendly. All in all not one of my best JSH experiences, the next time I am in Naples Im afraid I will look else where to dine.

Made reservation for 8pm, upon arrival was told it will be a few minutes as they were behind. No problem. 45 minutes later, still waiting, two parties of 8 get seated while we continue to sit and wait. Not once were we acknowledged with an eta or an apology for the delay. Perhaps it was because it was only my wife and I that larger parties take precedent. Dont bother making a reservation and if your looking for a great experience or friendly atmosphere, this is not the place.

Went here for my bday...very disappointing. Decor is outdated & tacky, not warm & inviting. Sashimi was terrible & fishy tasting, nothing like its supposed to, as we are very accustomed to eating at sushi restaurants, the cuts of tuna were thick but inferior & grainy. Waiter Stephen very nice, accommodating, & apologetic while training new staff. The bday dessert was delicious though. Should have gone elsewhere...

A long time favorite of mine and some of our friends too. Not cheap but very reasonable for the generous portions served. But its the quality of the food that puts it over the top for me. Dont hesitate, Club Sushi will not disappoint!

My wife and I really enjoyed the authentic Japanese food the Nigiri was amazing and the dessert was to die for we had the pineapple upsidedown cake. Also they have an amazing tiki restaurant in the back.
