Free cone on 3-16-15? Dont bother going to the DQ Grill & Chill downtown on 41 - they are not participating. I have been disappointed with that place ever since they opened - they dont seem to participate in any advertised promotions, accept coupons (in fundraiser books sold by our students - or any others, I dont think), or be customer service oriented at all. The DQ in Coastland is doing it, but the cones are super small, I guess. But at least they are participating, and they are much friendlier at that store. I miss the good old days at the triangle red roof DQ! (This review is by mom, not Sarah)

Very disappointed with the owner/manager who waited on me at the counter who said his family has owned this DQ for 17 years. Every time I order a large chocolate malt crunch blizzard from this location the price is different - and lately, very pricey!!! This last time he charged me $8! No other DQ has ever charged me this much! I realize it isnt a standard flavor offered at this time but it is a blizzard flavor that DQ has had in the past. At least warn your customers that you are going to up-charge them a couple dollars before placing the order!

JUST A WARNING FOR MY FELLOW GERMAPHOBES! This location does not require their employees to wear gloves while preparing food. I watched the cook wipe his nose, eat some lunch and take a sip of his drink all while in the process of preparing my order. Out of curiosity, I asked the cashier if they usually dont wear gloves and he informed me that it is not store policy. I was so disgusted that I didnt even eat what I purchased. On the plus side, the guy was very nice. However, I will not be returning!

I can not believe that I went out of my way today to try DQs new iced coffee!!! I went during their advertised Happy Hour. I guess the owner of this franchise thinks it is ok to let the consumer think that they are getting a deal then when they get there be informed that they dont participate in any promotions. I assume you think most will chalk it up and pay full price since you already ssuckered them into your establishment. Well I didnt!!! Anything for a buck

The first time we came to the DQ downtown my chicken was raw and they messed up our order. The cashier was rude. We called corporate and they said they would contact the owner and he would contact me. I called back a week after and the manager Mike was very friendly gave us an equal refund. Glad to see the managers are good that was the only plus going here.

Food is good, service on the other hand can be little slow. Seating is limited so be prepared to sit outside even on hot summer nights at this chain. Food quality is consistent with the DQ brand of restaurants though and you wont regret stopping in at this local place on the way home from a day at the beach.

Good food and ice cream. They have me a Heath bar blizzard instead of the salted caramel that i ordered. I didnt realize it until I was back in the car but I was to lazy to go back in. It was still ice cream.... it did the job.

Did you recently see a DQ commercial for happy hour specials? Well your out of luck at this location. Apparently this owner can pick and choose what they offer. Oh well, I left and took my money with me.

The worst ice cream! Everytime i order a hot fudge sundae they give you a coldass chocolate syrup splatter it in your ice cream and call it a damn hot fudge. Dont even bother ordering hot fudge sundae.

DQ is always good. The only negative thing I could say is the order counter was poorly located in in the restaurant. No place to stand while youre waiting for your order
