The most basic need of a human being is FOOD. My dear friend came from Houston Tx few month back.I asked one of my friend what would be a good place to eat around Collins Ave Miami Florida. He recommended me few restaurant around Fountain blue hotel. We chose MICHEAL MINA 74.We had a great time with my friends and family. But I do have to admit though first time in my life I ate in a restaurant and I was and we were still hungry when we left the place. SERVICE was good.Portion of food is NO good at all .No sides! Taste is ok. Please take care of those people(guest) who are and will be your patron .For your future reference hire a CHEF who will cook food first to taste and then......

Extremely disappointed. We received a salad with a Blond hair in my 12 year olds daughters salad. I have black hair and my daughter has dark brown hair. It is really disgusting. We received a sorry and another salad but it leaves such a bad taste in your mouth. We were charged for the salad and no compensation. I also paid $30 for only 2 lamb chops. Ridiculous thought I would receive at least 3. I have never been so dismissed at a restaurant like this. We go to many wonderful restaurants in NYC and if anything goes wrong they always take care of the customer. Wont return and will warn my friends who live in Miami.

Terrific surprise. We were stying at the Fontanbleu Towers for Art Basel and were looking for a convenient place for a 9:30pm dinner. Michael Mina was much better than we thought it was goind to be. The basement location is dark but the booths are comfortable and you can hear yourself talk.......ok, it was late and not crowded.......but there were enough people. Service was terrific. Menu is interesting and food is terrific. I had lobster pot pie, Dale had rissoto, one of us had lamb chops another the steakburger..........really very good. We would go back.

Robert the sommelier made our night very special by helping us out doing our own tasting menu with paired wines for each dish. When we first got into the restaurant we wasnt sure what to expect because it has a bit of a typical diner look but you soon notice the excellent service. What follows is a very interesting menu with a wide variety of flavors. But what makes this place most special is its outstanding sommelier, Robert, who happily shares all his extensive knowledge. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant if youre in the the area.

Quite impressive restaurant. The location and decor is pretty amazing. Definitely recommend valet - it isnt that bad honestly and will assure you make it inside without melting in the Miami humidity. As soon as you check with the hostess, youre led to a really cool bunker-like bar and dining area with the perfect ambiance for a group gathering or date. The menu is pretty unique and you have a full selection of beverages to accompany your meal. Three course meal was pretty good, especially their dessert offerings - go for the churros!

One of my favorite restaurants. When I go out to dinner, I expect excellent service, great food and a nice atmosphere. Michael Minas has it all. Believe me, I am very very picky when it comes to places to eat. Their head chef Thomas is an artist in the kitchen, and is one of the best in south Florida. Please dont listen to what other reviews low ratings say about their one time experience. This place is awesome and you will have a wonderful time. Try a little bit of everything on the menu if you can, youll be glad.

Met a few friends after work for a couple beers and shared the standard pizza and some wings, super chill, fun vibe after a busy week. Food and drinks were excellent as was our bartender Kerri she was awesome, we never had to fight for her attention or ask her for anything we didnt have - she was right on! Thanks so much Kerri & the kitchen- we plan to come and see you again for our next after work meetup!!

Ive had better food at hospital cafeterias! The rest of these reviews have to be bogus. The wings were wayyy over sized and under cooked so they were slimy in the inside and (on god) the pork chop was so bland and dry that I gave it to my dog. I dont mind paying good money for good food but this place is a total rip off I should have known better everything in the Fontainebleau is overrated

Tucked away beneath the Fountainebleau hotel, Michael Mina 74 will pleasantly surprise you. Great service, a fascinating seafood cart, and Robert the sommelier. Robert helped me pick food items and wine pairings that enhanced the experience. My husband and I saw other chefs eating there during Food Networks food&wine weekend.

Buen ambiente y buena y variada comida. Es el restaurante mas informal del complejo para comer una pizza, hamburguesa o unas gambas por ejemplo

Eric was hands down the best server I have ever experienced. It was as if I were eating lobster and steak, not nachos. He brought us warm steaming hand towels to clean up with after, and at no time in my dinner did I have to flag him down for anything. A very attentive server with a heart of gold.

Imagine the largest King Crab you ever seen floating in the tank and you point to it and its yours. Chef Thomas prepared the most incredible dinner we have ever had. So creative that it took 3 hours for dinner. Be prepared to spend $$$$$$$$ but its a once in a lifetime experience.

Awesome experience. The food was fresh and delicious. Must try Steak burger, Crab roll, Seabass and Skirt Steak. Great service. This restaurant has a great vibe, almost like a secret spot to bring your friend when they come to visit Miami.

Great food and our server was the best. For alcohol: Painkiller! They did not hold back at all on the liquor. The aged steak burger was great also! Just an fyi. They charge a "service charge" even for 2 people eating.

Overpriced burger, what makes it worse then that was the service. Could not fill a cup of water or a coffee. It took 30 min to get a check. I would not recommend to anyone.
