It was my birthday my girlfriend treated me to Hakkasan on this special occacion we had a reservation for 2 on 3/13/17 at 8pm and we realized with traffic we were running a little late we called the restaurant to let them know we were running about 20 min late due to traffic, we spoke to TYLER and he said Its ok no problem. Turns out that upon arrival he said and I quote "We only honor 15 min after scheduled reservations" and I said we called you ahead to let you know we ran in to traffic and that we would arrive 15-20 min after. He said and i quote "sorry you have to wait now nothing I can do". It was very upsetting girlfriend and I had such high hope for a memorable night on such a special day as my birthday among other accomplishments we were celebrating, that we felt very disrespected on his way of addressing this issue with us. FOOD QUALITY: Let me start by saying I am NOT alergic to Lobster or any other crustaceans I do eat this very often because I love it. I ordered Stir-Fry South florida Spiny lobster in XO Sauce - ended up with FOOD POISONING I was with vomits all night and explosive diarrhea I couldnt work next day due to dehydration (Dr Words). Too bad for us I gess, bad luck from beginning to end. Oh well

Hakkasan is located in the newly renovated fountaibleau hotel. The restaurant is really nice beautifully decorate is all dark and kind of intimated even though the tables are kind of close to each other. Ok one thing that I liked about this place is that it had some items on the menu that I had never tried before. Well I started with the jellyfish with chicken I was surprise had good it was I also had the crispy duck rolls they were very good also. As an entree I had the ostrich with spicy yellow beans and the crab noodles. My wife had the tea smoked chinken and the dried shrimp fried rice. The ostrich was so good nice and tender same for the noodles lots of crab not really meat but like a slimey type of crab it might not look good but it tastes delicious Itried the smoked chicken and the fried rice the chicken was super good the rice was ok nothing out of this world. Then the best part dessert we had the chocolate fondant with banana ice crean ummmm one of the best things I have ever tried in my life my only complaint is that it was too small. The placeis kind of expensive $ 210 tip included Plus 20 for valet ($12 if you validate your ticket which I forgot) Overall a very nice experience I really recommend this restaurant.

I grow up in China and I really feel I have the right to give a 2-star review for this place. It was way too overpriced and the food did not leave me any good impression. I would say an average Chinese resultant could do much better than this. And the taste from Hakkasan would be no difference from what I usually had in China in any small bistro. We spent $233 on dinner last night and it was not worth the price at all. I could have much better food somewhere else spending 200 bucks. The beef was salty, the fantail shrimp was oily, the chicken fried rice was chewy, but the desert was OK, and just OK. They compulsorily charged 18% gratuity from customers. I understand the location has given Hakkasan the privilege to make everything expensive. But if you are looking for a restaurant with decent decoration and atmosphere but not the quality or the tastes of the food, go ahead and give it a try and youll find out that I really tell the truth.

This place will heckle you. Not only did they deny our request to add on 2 business partners to our party of 6, they insulted our attired as we were being seated. Mind you, the place was empty and we could have easily fit 2 more people at our table. On top of that, they insulted one of my colleagues for their attire which was more than appropriate for the occasion. I find this so rude because if someones attire is truly the problem, then turn them away at the door. But to let them in and then heckle them about their attire in public and in front of clientele is absurd. Service was piss poor to boot. I give one star overall, but luckily for them they have a great chef in the back who makes delicious food for an extra star.

I have also been to Hakkasan in London and in New York City. I had wonderful experiences at both those outposts as well. However, the Hakkasan in Miami blew all the others away, which is a tremendous accomplishment. They had a sommelier stop by and recommend wines with each course in addition to several members of their staff waiting on us. The dim sum was fantastic, and the Peking Duck was the best I have ever enjoyed outside of Beijing. On food and service alone it was one of the best meals of my life. The beautiful decor both inside the restaurant and outside it within the Fontainebleau Hotel are just extra bonus points that help cement its status as one of the best restaurants in the world in my mind.

We have decided to dine here on recommendation of a friend. He suggested we try the Dim Sum brunch, but we opted for a late evening meal (with Dim Sum as starters) instead. The food is delicious and presented in a very appetizing manner. The restaurant is on the pricier side and the portions are sized so that you can try out multiple dishes. The music is a tad bit loud, so I wouldnt bring someone here on the first date, (unless of course intentionally ;) ), but this adds to the atmosphere which we enjoy very much. Finally, the cocktails are excellent and the atmosphere at the bar much better than downstairs in the lobby ("Bleau"-Bar).

This is overpiced PF Changs. I ordered the $18 Hot & Sour soup. A small bowl of salty soup arrived, the worst Ive ever tasted. The lettuce wraps arrived with tiny lettuce leaves impossible to eat. You expect a place that over charges for food would at least know what size lettuce leaves to serve with wraps. Our bill was $344 for four people. This was with 2 free drinks. We didnt even have an expensive bottle of wine. Then to top it off, we had to pay $12 additional on top of our validated valet ticket.

This review is for lunch.I like Hakkasan so Im sad to say I was disappointed with the food at this location. The dim sum was pretty bland and quality was just "ok" but not the high caliber I expect from Hakkasan. However, service was nice. Perhaps it was b/c we were there for lunch and that this location is in the hotel, but the crowd, which often makes places like this feel trendy, was filled with what I call the "cruise ship crowd." Kids were running around as well. I hear dinner is better...

For Miami, this is a machiah!! Gorgeous, well staffed, terrific food that would stand up well to a Beijing review. Terrific Chinese style restaurant in the Fontainebleau Hotel. Dale ordered 9 things for 6 of us and asked that they be brought sequentially. Spectacular. We come 3 or 4 times/year and love it. Sometimes drive round trip from Palm Beach. Just tried the branch in New York and while its good, it doesnt hold a candle to this.
