Although the China House is a small restaurant just down, in the same strip mall along Rte 8, from Gibsonias Atrias Restaurant, for delicious Chinese food from a large many-entried menu, each entry of which comes in more than enough food for a hungry persons meal, the China House cant be beat. We have been ordering take-out there almost since this fine little restaurant opened, and never have we been disappointed with the amount and flavor of whatever weve ordered. Although we live close by and thus order take-out, the restaurant also has a bright, if plain unassuming atmosphere with plenty of tables for those who prefer to eat their delicious Chinese food there. One can also, if one wishes, watch the Chinese chefs at the Woks on the stoves do their thing. A great place to eat, or to get take-out.

I order take-out here on average 3 times monthly for the last 5 years that Ive lived in the area. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than they say over the phone if its around peak time at 6p.m., but that doesnt really bother me. They know who I am as soon as I walk in the door to pick up the order, which I really appreciate. The food is always very good and consistent. It is an American-Chinese restaurant under the China House name, so you know youre not getting 5-star authentic cuisine, but when I work 60 hours a week and can order a filling, perfectly-cooked meal for less then $10, Im a customer for life.
