I will drive 10 minutes out of my way to get Chinese food from here. Theres another Chinese place a few blocks from my house, (China Wok) but the food doesnt even come close to the taste of New China City restaurant. Other Chinese restaurants food seem really dry. The woman that answers the phone to take the orders is a little abrasive, but the food is totally worth it.

My company gets lunch from this place pretty often. The food is good, cheap and you get plenty of it. Everyone that works there is super nice. The first thing you notice about this place is just how clean it is, most Chinese restaurants similar are covered in a 1/2" layer of grease. This place is nice and clean.

This is my favorite take out chinese place in roanoke by far. The food is always good, their hot and sour soup is delicious. Employees are always nice and friendly. Plus like another reviewer said its super clean. By far the cleanest chinese place in town.

Used to be amazing but now is just passable. All the staff, front register, cooks, etc. have changed over the past few years, and the quality of the food has gone down. Now they are just the same as any other fast food chinese.
