Ive been to Whisk before and its been very good. My last experience, on August 16, 2017 was very meh, very fair. The appetizer, the shrimp and grits was very good, no complaints. The blackened chicken sandwich was seemingly not blackened, (there was practically no seasoning on it) didnt have much flavor and the bacon that came on the sandwich was practically raw. They did bring out well done bacon after we asked for it. The shrimp and avocado salad had shrimp that were luke warm and almost a bit slimy. The staff was also very luke warm, not that I want people to be artificial but some presence and acting as if you care is nice when youre being waited upon. There just felt like there was little integrity with the cooking and attention of the staff, in general. It might have come from an misunderstanding though we werent even asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. I was not impressed.

The food is fantastic. The servers are very well educated on the menu and have a more than satisfactory knowledge of wine pairings. However, the parking situation is atrocious. The wait is understandable given the quality of the restaurant experience. I would highly advise avoiding this place at peak times as the parking situation is simply untenable. There are only around 8 parking spots, the alternative is a strip of gravel thats loaded with nails. Park there at your own risk, for me the cost was a $300 run flat tire. Its also rather unsightly to have to escort a date down this path. I still dont understand why guests cant park at the Ravlin building for dinner or at least valet. I hope that they can resolve this issue because I would really like to visit this establishment more frequently. The porkloin and the strip streak are both excellent.

If you are coming with a party larger than 5 be prepared to get treated with terrible service from the manager. Although the server was very nice being treated terrible from the beginning left a bad taste in our mouth. After being seated in separate tables our food came out at all different times with about 10 minutes in between, half our party ate before the other half even had the food. When the food finally came it was cold, kind of tasted as if it had been sitting there for a while. Once we paid and stood up the cleaning crew couldnt have us out of there any faster, they started cleaning while we were still there. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a large party nor anyone who likes to be treated like a normal human.

Whisk offers very good food, which is a refreshing change for Miami. Nothing is mind blowing or life changing, but solid and consistent. Upcharges are awarded to even the smallest of changes or substitutions. (I asked for no bread with a main, changing it from a sandwich to a simple piece of fish, and was charged for saving them the bread. Baffling and obnoxious.) Pricing is consistent with more highbrow establishments, but again, we put up with the cost as its a welcome change to the Miami food scene. If only they offered a little more variety.

Whisk features a neighborhood, homely restaurant ambience, where the majority of customers are locals. Whisk’s dishes are inspired by the southern American specialty without losing the gourmet touch that its diners expect. The restaurant also boasts a good selection of wines and beers as well as a bar to enjoy with friends or family. In Whiisk there are good options for brunch and they take advantage of the production of local ingredients to offer you food that will cheer up your day.

Bacon wrapped dates, fresh potatoes chips, panther coffee and fried green tomatoes- just a few of my favorite Whisk menu items. Be mindful of the popularity of this local epicure delight, you may have to wait for a table or you may order at the bar. Always satisfied by the attention from servers, never missed a coffee pour, plate/course change. Ambiance is quaint, can get loud when its a full house expect to lean in closely to hear or speak.

Excellent food every single time. Love the spicy beef dish, perfect amount of spice and savory sauce. A little loud inside, not the greatest place for a quiet conversation. They have limited space so its clear they want to move you out quick, however not rudely and you dont feel rushed. Been there 4 times and had a different meal each time, never disappointed. Also great rotating beer lists. All in all Id highly recommend it

Pulled in for quick lunch in last Sunday. I took valet parking for $6 . There was many people I guess it is most busy day in a weak. Any way , I choose a place near the bar and ordered " special menu " . It was the fish for $28,50. And now I just waiting for 7 min already ... It is realty busy time now . Wi-Fi is available for free Well, it took 11 min to get my fish . Lets try... ....Very good....

This place feels like home. Dont let the limited parking stop you from enjoying everything Whisk has to offer. Classic southern dishes and innovative meals, along with a great selection of wines and beers, make this place a gem. I recommend one of the hearty sandwiches they offer, such as the BLT. The lunch rush and weekend nights get hectic, otherwise your wait shouldnt be too long.

Ive been here twice for brunch. Both times the food has come out fast but cold. The flavors are good if they could just get the temperature right. I got a sandwichwith an egg and the egg wasnt completely cooked. I personally wouldnt go back again after giving it two chances. I also dont find the staff to be incredibly pleasant. Sorry, I just dont agree with most of the reviews.

I cant say enough about this place. The food is amazing (each and every time)! Great beer selection, great wine selection (although I wish you all carried Joel Gott!), great staff, and the ambience of the place is just great! This will continue to be one of our preferred eateries in South Florida!

Im never disappointed with the food here! No matter what, always order some cornbread and a cocktail if you can. Any entree is delicious and the staff are super friendly. I love how I can order delivery via Postmates too for those days I cant be bothered to drive all the way there and find parking.

If youre looking for exquisite tasting food this is the place... Service a little slow and always so full (make reservations), always a wait to get seated. But its no wonder why its so popular. Try the bacon covered dates.. Theyre heaven! Price is not student priced.
