Las porciones son mas pequenas y mas caro que en restaurantes de la misma competencia como Havana Harrys o Rinconcito Latino,siempre pido lo mismo "vaca frita" para poder comparar. En los otros lugares me sobra para llevarmelo para la cena y aqui no fue lo mismo.Costo del plato $15 dolares vs $11 dolares en los otros restaurantes los dias domingos,no vuelvo nunca mas.

We had always been fans of Habana Vieja in its old location and we came here somewhat nervously after reading very mixed reviews. We were delighted to find that the food was as good or better than we remember! The Caldo Gallego was perfectly seasoned and made a hearty start to the meal. We enjoyed the battered fish fillet, which was mild, subtle and not greasy. We ordered favorites such as tostones, yuca con mojo, ropa vieja, black beans, rice, and plantanos maduros. We were not disappointed and enjoyed a very fine lunch. We will certainly return to this gem of a restaurant. If you are looking for very authentic Cuban food, this is the place for you. My Cuban wife, who ate in old Havana, can testify that Habana Vieja lives up to its name.

Very nice place.The decor is great, ample and inviting. It looked pretty clean. Our service on a Friday night at 9:00 was prompt and attentive. They have professional waiters who have obviously been doing this for a very long time, old school. The food was typical for Florida and the Miami are. There are better, and there are definitively worse places to find Cuban food in town. The price was quite fair and they have a pretty varied menu. Not too bad.

Horrible experience! I used to love the old location, it was not as crowed, and the service was great ! We are in February 2016, and my husband and I decided it to give it a try in the new location, 2475 SW 37 Ave, and guess : after we were sitting for 10 mins, no one came to our table, and there was too many people at the same time for such a small place! Carrera, Versalles, much better place for Cuban food

Me and my boyfriend went in for a nice dinner, what a mistake!!! Me and him are a younger couple and we got NO SERVICE! They gave us water and bread and didnt say two words to us. After 20 min of waiting and servers walking past our table and no acknowledgement we walked out. We will never return to that place. I have never been profiled so horribly in my life! Completely outraged!!!!!!

Good Cuban food, location is a bit of a pain to get to since Douglas road is such a dangerous place to be a pedestrian. Wait staff here are not that friendly to English speakers and dont like to split up checks, but whatever the food is good. Four stars despite from me because Im from Miami and Im used to it. For out of towners....be ready for some abrasive customer service.

Cheap and authentic cuban food (verified by cuban boyfriend). Fast and friendly service. Menus are written in both Spanish and english. Yes the waitresses english was a bit broken, but nothing we couldnt understand, but thats to be expected in a completely authentic environment. They have outdoor seating & clean bathrooms. Oh and the portion sizes are HUGE!

Good Bang for the money. Went on Friday and for five of us ate for around $60 + tip and that included soup, Sangria or Wine, Entree an desert. Decent portion. Not gourmet, but decent Cuban food. If you can be patient with the service, which can be spotty, go. Ive been there before and Ill go again.

The place used to be great. They have since relocated from their original coral way spot to a newer one in front of the gables hospital . The decorations inside are not nearly as good as they used to, and the place is a lot smaller. The service wasnt bad but it has definitely gone down in quality.

Service was very good, staff was attentive. There is also a lounge with full service bar. The food was plentiful and not very expensive. The place has an old world feel. My original waiter spoke broken english but menu was bilingual. He switched us of with an english speaking waiter.
