I wanted to give the place one star but Ive had worse food. Ordered some lunch today from this New Mexican place in the neighborhood because I need a new go-to place. Menu looked decent and the prices were decent as well. Menu wasnt too authentic but better than Taco Bell. Called in and waiter named Ralph(I think) who said he couldnt talk because he had a table walk in, so he asked if he hand over to the bartender who doesnt speak any English. I said fine, and ordered my food. She tried but I dont think shed ever taken an order before, had to force my address and credit card info on her. She said 15-20 minutes(because my job is 5 minutes away) and we hung up. 45-55 minutes later the delivery guy shows up, with some wrong food and no drinks. He apologizes and tells me to call the restaurant so they can fix it. I call for next 10 minutes and no one answers the phone. 5 minutes after that the bartender calls back and asks for me by name. Wants to know what the issue was, apologizes again, and says the delivery guy will be here shortly. Delivery guy shows up 15 minutes later...wrong food again but at least this time he brought the drinks. I told the guy not to bother bringing anymore food. Like I said earlier, Ive had worse food. Id give the food a 2/5 . Season was a little strange, veggies were never chopped up just throw in, and food overall was bland. Good luck surviving in Pinecrest.

The service was good, but the food was pretty terrible and overpriced for the portions. It also gave my friend and I both food poisoning, so thats obviously something else to be wary of. From the taste they obviously use very poor quality ingredients. Salsa tasted like nothing. Mole was disgusting and inedible, as was the rice. Burrito was pretty bad. Tacos are only thing thats good. Guacamole is 9$, and appetizers are generally very overpriced. Drinks were very, very overpriced. Im going to pay 9$ for a margarita at a bland fast-food place in a random strip place? Nope, thats outrageous. Taco Rico is right down the street, and is much much better, and much cheaper. Theres a lot of much better Mexican food around. Also, this isnt authentic Mexican, its bland tex-Mex. I didnt try margarita because I was so disappointed with everything else that I assumed they would be bad as well.

Unfortunately I had to change my review from 4 to 1. The food was great, like very few Mexican places in Pinecrest. Better than Chipotle. But they where able to charge me with a fraudulent charge. The charge is not the problem, is that they have my credit card account written down in a receipt with my expiration date on the clear. I hope they fix this issue before someone takes advantage of this vulnerability . You shouldnt be able to pull a full credit card number and expiration date from any system, or write it down anywhere. This is private, confidential and sensitive information . Im talking to First Data about this. The manager was very understanding and open to help me, but this is a security flaw that cannot be left unattended. Im sure this small incident will help them to harden their payment platform. Hope to come back to eat soon, but paying in cash.

I love the Peppers in Brickell, they have great service and food. But I stopped at this one the other day and order a burrito monterrey, everytime i ordered i got it with shredded beef. This time however i wasnt asked anything just given ground beef which was disappointing as it doesnt come with that. I also ordered your churros & chocolate for the frist time, also a disappointment the churros didnt even have cinammon or sugar and they didnt come with any chocolate. Overall a terrible experience as i had ordered it to go.

This was my first time here and I ordered to go because I had my kids and was ordering my husband lunch. And mackenzie took my order at the bar and she offered me chips and water while i waited and not only was it fun to enjoy with my oldest son but she was very attentive to detail and generous the way it should be in the resturant.. Hopefully next time is just as good.. Food was

Food is good , decor too , but little big things are missing : #1 MUSIC no music !!! # 2 very important Service is not the best , place was full and waiters/waitresses dont speak Spanish and dont even understand the names of the food that is in Spanish ! Chips and salsa are great ! I will come back for the food and to see if they improve the ambiance .

I did come here this afternoon and enjoyed what I ate. Guacamole was good. Salsa wasnt too pungent. Tasted just right. Tortilla chips went alongside our tortillas, which was a nice little touch of creativity and deliciousness. I tried a type of soup(forgot the name) but thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely be returning!

The Mexican food was top notch and tingled my "spice" taste buds to the fullest! The tacos were definitely authentic like this restaurant states. My favorite tacos were the carnitas. They had just the right amount of toppings and texture to satisfy my hunger. Highly recommend Peppers Authentic Mexican Grill!!!

The tacos here are good, but overpriced... But youre paying for the ambiance I guess. Now, the pork chops, delicious!!! Enough to share (or not). I also came back a couple of times for the calamari which is excellent as well. Definitely one of the few good restaurants in north beach.

I only gave 1 start because I couldnt give 0. Worst food in pinecrest. Dont waste your money here. Canned chicken, frozen and old rice and beans, even the soda fountain was not properly calibrated. Very sweet waitress. Feel bad for her because this place will surely close soon.

I am not Mexican so I cannot vouch for authenticity. However, I am Hispanic and have a good understanding of spice and flavor. Their food was tragically under-seasoned and mediocre at best. Its really disappointing. If I were you, Id give it a try, but dont expect much.

Most exemplary display of Mexican cuisine Ive had in ages. Especially delicious tacos. A fine addition to the local restaurants available in the area. Service was outstanding and they really know how to prepare a margarita!!
