I used to be a regular here, I am disappointed with my visit today. Today, I went in to pick up my lunch, the quesadilla monterey, and my cheese was melted but my food was cold. The top quesadilla was burned on the bottom and cold. This order had to be old or they tried to re-cook or warm an order from earlier. It only took me 10 minutes to get there so it should not have been cold. My rice was in a separate container which was steaming hot!!! Go figure! I was too far to go back and I had to get back to work. The only reason I gave this a two because I know how good their food can be. Not what I was expecting after I paid almost $14. I hope it was worth it, Im not going back.

Very overpriced for what you get! I ordered two tacos and a drink and it was $11. I thought that it sounded too high, but paid because I was in a rush to get to school. I later went online to check their menu and found that I had been over charged by almost $3. I called to give them a chance to fix the problem and I got silence on the phone when I told them I looked the prices up. They did not want to help me with the overcharge. Makes me wonder just how many people never pay attention to being overcharged. Guess they are getting rich off of their patrons. I will never go back to this establishment. They do not even deserve the one star that I gave them.

We went in the waitress was ok. We ordered a frozen margarita and a strawberry daiquiri. We had the salsa of course and we ordered the cheese dip. Well the chips were stale as hell. Our cheese was runny like water and cold . The margarita wasnt even frozen. It took them 10 minutes just to bring it out saying their machine was slow. The daiquiri was beyond HORRIBLE. It wasnt frozen and it taste like syrup. Koolaid syrup. We told them we wasnt satisfied with anything and they pretty much didnt give a crap. They just said theyll take one of the drinks off and they werent doing anything else. We will definitely not be coming back

We have been coming here for years. Jose, Patricia, Melissa H. and Stephanie are the best. Majority of the time, we have been here 2 times a week. The service is great and the customer service is wonderful. THEY value establishing relationships with their customers on a more personable level. They always know what we like and how we like our food. . Poppies (Jose) and his team ROCK! Keep pushing for the best Monterays! Tammy, Ingrid and the gang!

If you like a long wait for Mexican food, youve come to the right place. We waited about 30 minutes for a taco and nachos. Ridiculous! On top of that the waitresses were not friendly or attentative, they did not care about their customers and absolutely did not deserve the tip they received. We barely got a second basket of chips, if it werent for the food runner working his butt off. Definitely will not be returning.

A hidden gem for local Mexican food. With a international supermarket doors down, its not surprising how fresh of ingredients theyre cooking with. Maybe I could fault the seats or the waitstaff- but I enjoy being in a Mexican restaurant with Hispanics dining beside me. Most importantly- you can taste why theyre eating here too.

Everything at Monterrey always tastes like its fresh out of a can. We have many superior choices for Mexican food in Winston. I honestly suggest you go elsewhere if you want authentic Mexican food. That being said the wait staff has always been top notch any time I have found myself there.

Great Food here! We wanted something different and decided to try this restaurant out. The salsa is perfect and not watered down. Good selection of dishes, blend of Tex-Mex and authentic. We have already planned our return visit.

FABULOUS WAIT STAFF! This is a great, inexpensive place to wind down with a Dos Equis Amber on tap, and a taco or two. The salsa is delicious and I can honestly eat it as soup.
