Went there on a whim last night hoping to find my new favorite burger spot. The place appeared nice as we walked up, was empty, with only two other patrons on the patio at the time. We decided to order appetizers as we looked over the menu, fried green tomatoes & mozzarella sticks to start. They arrived maybe a minute or two after we ordered them, cold. I guess they arent made to order? Precooked and reheated in a microwave comes to mind... Anyhow, I had to get up to take the plate to our waiter to reheat them because he was too busy talking to his friend to notice something was wrong, or bother checking on us at all for that matter. After we finished eating marginally warmer cheese sticks I had to get up to bother our waiter again for the check, because he just didnt seem to be in the mood to acknowledge we were there, the only other people sitting inside. Didnt even want to order entrees at this point! Great first impression, Al Carbon, we wont be back.

So, I found this place as a suggested place through zomato & I have no clue how it has 3.8 rating. Ok, place has Wynwood-artsy theme in the middle of Gables - kinda cool. Has a lot of rewards on their door - tripadvisor, uber eats, bite squad, etc. Went in & NOBODY WAS THERE. It was dead. So, we sit down, get waited on & served our menus. I liked the selection & decided to get a burger along with my partner. I also ordered a Lulo juice w/ water which was AMAZING! Loved the juice - kinda like drinking passionfruit (sour yet sweet) but its own flavor. It took 20 minutes for the burgers with sweet potato fries to get to us. Fries were cold & burgers were OK :/ Like nothing special, if anything I can make those kinds of burgers on my backyard grill. If you want semi-passable food that costs $40+ (with taxes + tip) for two, be my guest. But it was a one time experience, not gonna come back. #sorrynotsorry

Great service and food. The burger was fresh and full of flavor. You have the option of getting regular burger or grass fed burgers. The chips were homemade sweet potato chips and were delicious as well. We also had the churrasco with rice and salad. The sizzling churrasco was perfect. Full of flavor and juicy. The location is perfect. It has outdoor seating for a dog friendly atmosphere. The interior has wall to wall hand drawn art. Perfect for a bar style outing with friends, a decent beer selection and great food.

I like the burgers and am a frequent customer, but the service I experienced was just horrible. I work close by so a couple of co-workers and I got some early dinner after work. We were the ONLY ones in the WHOLE restaurant, but when it came time to give the check, the waitress did not have it ready and forgot what everyone ordered. We left after 25 minutes of dealing with the check and inconsistencies, I left the restaurant with a HUGE HEADACHE!!! NEVER GOING AGAIN.

Ive been to Al Carbon 3 times and I can confidently say that I will not be going a fourth. The food is overpriced; the bill came out to $24 for two (mediocre) burgers and one side of (sub-par) french fries. The service is slow; every time I went, it took between 30-50 minutes bring out out a cheeseburger. That is unacceptable. If you must go, have the Hawaiian burger as it is the best of the three that I have tried but, its still not worth the $9 price tag.

Quaint little hide-a-way, was not crowded and still took 10 minutes to get first contact to order drinks with another 10 minutes for delivery thereof ...once we ordered, it took 25 minutes for 5 burgers, and the sweet-potato fries were burned ... layers of greasy dirt hang from everything, but the food was good albeit expensive... 4 small slices of fried green tomatoes cost $8.99 .... and no yellow lemons in the establishment.

I never win, If i got to eat lunch there the food is good, the portions a good size but they take forever. if If i order take out to bring back to the office the portions are half the size and they stupids things like put the chips with the meat so by the time you get to work is all soggy and nasty. over priced for sure. Even if u are the only one at the restaurant it still takes a long time for service.

I live .5 miles down the road and ordered out. It took over an hour to receive dried out calamari, a dry and plain chicken sandwich, and a half way decent grilled mahi salad (very basic at best). I was warned before I ordered and tried them anyway. Will boy order again and choose to go to the other 50 good restaurants on coral way.

Came here by chance with my fiance and everything was great. The food was delicious and bar appropriate. The service was wonderful and very friendly. We enjoyed every part of our meal including the drinks and dessert. Would recommend to anyone and will be coming back.

Best option for burgers on coral way. I work not too far away so I use Bite Squad for delivery. The food is consistently good. Their colombian fast food also hits the spot and they offer a nice selection of craft beers. Nice place to hang out.

Best burgers on coral way, maybe not a "cool look" but surprisingly good bar food. Sports bar with games playing on multiple tvs. Love it that they do not play loud music like other bars so you can actually have a conversation.

Bad service, raw hamburger with funky scent, chips were dripping of fat, vegetable plate for 12 dollars was onion, mushroom out of a can, some bell pepper and a couple of slices of zucchini. Used to be an OK place, not anymore.

Nice service at the beginning the empanadas are a must before waiting for your food ...the beer and mojitos are good i ate the mexican burger it was ok got to try the others but already at the end the service went slow

I know this place 5 or 6 years ago, the menu got shorter but the food and service is really good now, allso they have a very good selection of craft beers and dont have to wait to long for my order.

Chipotle burger was delicious: medium well I ordered the sweet papita fries. Spicy wings were on point. The first beer was on the house because I came in while it was raining. 10/10 would do again.

Best burguers in town. Simple as that. They also have a very good local brew beer. This is a small place with no fancy furniture or decor but the one you always want to visit because of its food.

Meh. Overpriced craft beers ($7.50-8.00), burgers were OK, just not great. Extra charge for fries. And they played disco music. I should have gone to Lokal or Rokburger.
