I know the place just recently opened but they have some management problems. We were told the wait time was 30 minutes. At 45 minutes, we asked when we were going to be seated and were told you at the top of the list . The platitudes didnt mean much because 15 minutes later we were still waiting and again told about being at the top of the list and that they were clearing a table for us at that moment. I asked to see the manager - more difficult than I expected. Took five minutes for the manager to come and she just said she was sorry for the delay. It was 5 more minutes after that before we were seated (70 minute wait). The waitress was friendly and capable, but table prep was poor. The ketchup bottle was empty (I could understand this if it was in the evening, but this was lunch and we were just the second table seating), and the salt and pepper still had plastic security wrap on them. They have the computer tablets at the table so you can pay your bill without bothering the wait staff (one of my main worries when dining out) but when it printed the receipt, it was blank. My wife and daughter really liked their burgers. My salad was just okay but thats what I get for ordering a salad at a burger place. I really expected the manager to come by to see how we were doing but no joy. It would have gone a long way to improve my impression of the place if she had checked on us, and even more if she had offered to do something, such as comp our drinks, but my expectations were again shattered. My family may go back, but I likely wont be there anytime soon.

We were told there was a 45 minute wait, but were seated in 15 minutes. A great, but pretty big miscalculation. We had the onion ring tower and they were actually bland. Not that oniony, but a good, crispy texture. We all thought the burgers were pretty dry even though we ordered them "with a little pink" rather than "no pink", which were the choices. No beefy taste. I had the guacamole bacon burger. A small smear of guac that couldnt be tasted at all. Thank heavens for the bacon. All-in-all, very little flavor in the whole burger. We all thought the burgers where "ok", but wouldnt bother to go back. Fries are "bottomless" and there is an insert in the menu advertising the bottomless fries, sweet potato fries, or broccoli. Our fault for not reading the small print, but the sweet potato fries have a surcharge. Not that we wouldnt have ordered them, but we were surprised when we got the bill. There were 4 of us. The bill was $76. Four burgers, an order of onion rings, one sangria, one beer, one soda, one water. Not a good value for a burger dinner. Our waiter was very friendly, but the place is frantic. I cheated on The Burger Place in downtown Melbourne, but wont do that again. On the way home we sang the Red Robin theme song a couple of times, but replaced the "yummm" with "mehhh".

First and foremost, Ive worked in the food industry and I know how insane a new opening is. My first and only time here (First time ever at a Red Robin too) was absolutely terrible we arrived when there was 3 small groups ahead of us and the place was almost barren (early lunch break to beat the crowd). Its understandable for a few things when being a new restaurant sure, but there are many things that were controllable that were neglected, we never even got drink refills when about 3 servers were standing around. It took 2 hours to get our food out and a few plates were cold and several were completely wrong which may be somewhat understandable considering the restaurant being new, but im adding it just to show that absolutely everything was bad about this place. After several complaints for the duration of our visit that we needed to get moving and that this was all unacceptable the manager didnt do anything to assist. When trying to pay our bill the machine screwed up (again sort of understandable), and instead of taking our cards, they took over 15 min to fix the machine neglecting the fact that we had already been waiting over 2 hours already. I will not be returning to red robin.

Usually love this place as its safe for me to eat as a celiac. I called before coming and specifically asked if they had gluten free buns today and to my delight, they said they did. We sat at the bar section and was served by a middle age woman with very short red hair. She was kind of awkward the entire transaction and seemed to not really be paying attention. I ordered my usual order and patiently waited. It took roughly 30 mins for our food to come out, and when it did, guess what no glutenfree bun. I could tell by looking at the perfectly soft and light sesame seed bun that she had messed up. We were in a time crunch so I could not wait for the entire thing to be remade. She even got the fries wrong, and had the audacity to tell me requesting a glutenfree bun wasnt enough of an indictator that I had an allergy and blamed the entire situation on the kitchen. It was embarrassing to see her lie instead of owning up to her own little mistakes and rectifying the situation. Embarrasing. Will not be visiting this establishment if she is present.

Literally the worst dining experience Ive ever had. My server was Stacy and not only was she not very attentive and I saw more of other servers than her, she made it seem like her fellow employees were incompetent as if they were unable to do their jobs properly. Also, after her coming to my table three times once we were all finished with our food and never mentioned the checks, I briefly asked her if she could get our 6 top table our checks, she responded "yes maam" with eyes wide open, putting her hand in my face with THE WORST ATTITUDE IVE EVER GOTTEN FROM A SERVER. After I excused myself from my table, she comes back to complain about me to the rest of my party. So completely unprofessional. Not only the server, but when we walked in, we waited at least three minutes before anyone even addressed us. And on top of that all the fries I ordered were in a pool of grease and so soggy I didnt even finish them. I will never ever return to this establishment and I will continue to turn people away.

I waited over 20 years to dine at a Red Robin(yummm). When I heard one was coming to Melbourne I was so excited I could hardly stand it. When the day finally came to visit Red Robin (yummm) It was like Christmas. Except not like Christmas unless Christmas is like overpaying for mediocre food and having fry trays with no bottom. Let me explain bottomless fries is a very literal term at Red Robin (yummm). When my friend tried to move his French Fries to a more secure location on his plate all the fries spilled out the bottom. Ive never seen someone so embarrassed. The only reason I give this place two stars is because we didnt have to wait long to leave since you can pay on a tablet at the table. Though are server did freak out when we used the technology and possibly thought we were dine and dashing. I signed up for there loyalty program but realized that was a waste of time because I will never return. Good day.
