As soon as we walked through the door we were told to sit anywhere. We asked if there were highchairs and the girl said yes, we proceeded to pick a table to sit at but the only one that looked clean was wet so I dried it and when I turned around the girl that we asked for the highchair had walked behind the counter leaving it up to us to walk to the back of the restaurant and get one. When we started ordering beverages I felt rushed. When we finally ordered food we had a hard time understanding what the girl was saying, she spoke fast and low. Then food came out and they brought all the food at different times so we all had to wait for each others food to come out. The plates were not handed to each person but placed in front of one of us to had to the other. My grandsons pizza was soggy and greasy. My food which I ordered from the menu came from the food that was already prepared which while I was ordering the girl kept on looking to see if there was any, my daughters meat was marinated in too much vinegar and my husband who asked for mofongo with mojito instead got broth with his mofongo. Needles to say we have gone to that restaurant for years and ordered take out, we will not be doing either one again. I guess if we want good food and good service we need to drive a lot further. Need I say anymore?

I had to create a Google account in order to rate NY Pizza of Poinciana. I found it important to start a Google account because of my dealings with NY Pizza of Poinciana. Purchased a couple of different style pies by way of delivery; called them up in the morning so they would (in hopes) be on time for the delivery. The first pie had way and I mean WAY too much olive oil on it (White Pizza). The second was much worse, it was so bad it will stand the test of time in my memory as worst pizza ever; the sicilian was so thick in dough/bread that it was actually difficult to take a bite off of it, thats not the worst of it, we are talking about very little sauce + cheese on the top, so essentially they made a big square doughy thing. If it matters any, the garlic knots (thank god I ordered the four count only) had no real taste except for that doughy thing going for it. And regarding the delivery nearly 30 mins late!! Stay away from this newly run NY Pizza of Poinciana. At least the last owners had almost okay pizza. I feel swindled and I am still upset over this rotten overall experience I had with their business.

Yesterday I took my family to NYPD for their grand opening. I was hesitant only because the previous owner was running this place into the ground. We took advantage of their special deal, buy one specialty pie and get one cheese the same size for free. I am so glad we did! The pizza was absolutely delicious! It really is the closest to NY pizza that you can get down here in Florida! The service was excellent! The new owner Kevin came and introduced himself and his partner Paul. They are very nice guys from NY and NJ, so they know how pizza should taste! Our server was very attentive and again, the food was great! These new owners really seem to care and take pride in their new business. All a big plus in my book! I will be making this a regular restaurant for me and my family. The prices were very reasonable for such scrumptious food! :) All in all, I am extremely impressed with how they had turned this formerly awful NYPD into an awesome NYPD! Thank you to the new owners for bringing Poinciana the best pizza around!! Never again will we be ordering from any of the other pizza joints in town!

Never again people just stare at you and walk past instead of telling you hello and be with you shortly ...the cook is the one who asked me if I was helped and had someone help me and she was busy worrying about where someone else was so she didnt have to take my order ...didnt ask me if I want food for here or to go yet brings my drinks to the table we were sitting at and then packed my pizza to go SMH then they donated the paper in the box to catch the grease and the pizza was not to write home about New York pizza my butt only thing NY about is how thin the slice is Dont know why I didnt just go to lemays but my pregnant self saw NY and got open SMH never again dough didnt even taste fully cooked

This has to have been one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. It took over 50 minutes in order to bring our food on out then when it arrived the kids chicken tenders were all raw on the inside. The service is terrible, when the owner arrived everything stopped to cater to him and his family while meanwhile our table received awful food and service. Kids did not even touch their food after the first bite. What a way to celebrate a new child going to kindergarten! Then we ended up still having to go to McDonalds in order to feed the children After waiting an hour we needed something quick! Do not waste your time or money on going here the place should be out of business soon

I spend around $60 in 3 camarofongo and 1 medium pizza. I call for the only reason no wait for my order and go fast to my house. The food ready next to the cashier, was cold we waiting for 10 minutes and the employees dont care if you wait or not your food. Just talking, laughing and walking around the store. If not funny when you see your food and the cashier is talking bad things from the costumers on the phone. Por cierto, todo lo dijo en español en mi presencia y en frente de otros clientes. Me hubiera gustado ser un Mistery Shooper en ese momento y grabarlos, para que vieran como se mofaban de los clientes y peleaban entre si. Is sad when is a good place, but the service is only 1 star.
