Friday December 18, 2015 My wife and I were dining at Bob Evans on Hwy 27 near Lowes tonight about 5 PM As we were enjoying our meal, a Lake Wales Police Officer was going table to table asking for donations for the Special Olympics. I think this was the tackiest , most intimidating way of trying to get money. Never in my life have I experienced this. The Lake Wales Chief of Police should be ashamed of himself for letting his Officers do such a thing.

This is my third time trying this place..the first time it took an hour to get our food, the next time my order was all wrong..this last time ..our food was cold, never received our bread even after repeated attempts of asking..asked for napkins never received them, no refill on our drinks, which we did not recieve until just before our food which took 35 min to get, and wad cold, sotry we will not be going back ever again..

Bob Evans is just OK, their food is good, you cant really go wrong with whats on the menu but there is nothing super great a out this restaurant. The service was acceptable, the waitress I had did not really make an impression on me but thats not a bad thing,just means I did not notice her. The food I had was good.

Terrible service waited for a server for 10 minutes just to find out it was the server that passed us numerous times after we asked what was going on the manager informed us there is only one server and she is slammed but the manager has time to sit down and roll silverware! Wow

There was no one to greet us and take us to the table upon arrival, after a minute or two we had to ask for help. After that everything was great. Very nice food and a nice table attendant. The price seemed about right especially when you consider the quality of the food.

Normally Very good.. but got take out online they told us they didnt get the order till the same time my email said it was ready.. then it was just thrown together. Waited 30 mins in the parking lot and 15 after I sent the order.. I will make sure I eat in only here

Best place I could eat at! Good service nice staff amazing food and great prices.I got refills as soon as I got to the bottom. Food came out nice and hot. My bacon was misplaced but that doesnt matter. I will be coming back soon!!

Servers are to young and are always on there cell phones. Took forever to get a refill on my drink, asked twice for ketchup, and the guy who cashed us out was rude, he didnt even say a word to us. I will not be back anytime soon.
