Went here tonight, 5/18/17, and the service was at its worst compared to any other time Ive gone. I have been here in the morning and at night so I do know both ambiances. A group of about 20 of us went after an event we had and had a section to ourselves which was good. However, our server ( a tall young man with a blonde flip in his hair and bubbly personality) did the right thing by asking if we wanted separate checks and how but it went down hill after that. He took our drink orders and took about 10 or more minutes to bring drinks and then like another 15 minutes before he came over to get orders. When we finally said our orders, my 83 year old grandmother asked for toast and coffee, the toast along with the rest of our food took over 45 minutes to come out. When we asked about bringing only the toast first he said he could not ask the cook because he would get yelled at by him. He eventually went to the back and came out with toast and said "here you go, I actually did it myself. Hows that?" The night dragged on, my table was the first to order, eventually food started coming out after almost an hour and 2 of my family members at my table never got their food; keep in mind the server paraded around our section and even at my table and never acknowledged my family without their plates and not once did I hear him check in with the kitchen (we were seated right next to the kitchen area). Eventually my family got tired of waiting and said to remove their order and the server tells the cook "oh never mind they dont want it scratch it off". Not a single apology much less try to figure out what happened. He became snappy after my family tried to explain that he never input or checked on their order. Seeing his reaction, I asked to speak with a manager on duty. He became sassy and said "oh sure! Of course, go for it". I was appalled by his rudeness. The manager came over and I began to explain the situation and even apologized to her if I sounded frustrated with her because I knew it was not her fault. I saw how she actively listened to me but she also tried to make excuses by saying they will get yelled at by the cook and they were understaffed as 1 of the 2 cooks went home sick. My remark to her was that the cook shouldnt be working there if thats his attitude. She apologized for the servers behavior and the server then came back to chime in and be sarcastic and rude with me saying "look at the restaurant behind you, youll notice were busy and we have large parties". The manager had to try to shush him and shove him away to stop him from being rude because he said mentally he knew they were missing their plates. WE DO NOT READ MINDS, COMMUNICATE THAT YOU ARE AWARE that they do not have their food yet. At the end of it all, I kept my cool as we had minors and adolescents within our party and kindly said as paying customers all we ask for his communication and acknowledgement when you have almost everyone in your party eating except for 1 or 2. At the end of the night, we got a sorry and 20% off the bill but the bitter connection is there because its not only about money. Its about respect.

Couple months ago i was visiting Orlando with my family ,we are originaly from Europe ,so please exuse my English. I have to find the way how to make a comment on this Ihop ,as you all probably know being on vacation is sometimes hard to find a good place to eat . So tried couple places near to our hotel ,but not soooo good. One day we were Kissimme and we went to Ihop ,OMG where we were untill now.? This place is amazing ,as soon as we entered the door everybody was greeting us with a smile which was very plesant ,after all that bad experiance we had from before. I could not beileve that all the servers and cooks were in a good mood ,they are working ,i sad ! My son order a smily face , my wife order somethig from the small menu, soory dont remember the name of it it was a recomendation from our server and she loved it so much and me i have got a Big steak omelete .OMG ,that thing was huge and it comes with pancekes too .We absolutely loved it ,what a great experiance ,if we ever come back to Orlando ,that is the place for us to eat. Thank you guys for all your service and a GOOD FOOD.

i went to this location about 3 weeks ago to treat my family with brunch. i spent almost $100 in this place and was happy to receive a receipt with a survey offer for free pancakes. Cool, my daughter loves theses pancakes. so here i am 3 weeks later trying to use my offer and the server cristina refuses to honor the receipt because im not dining in. no where on the receipt does it says DINE IN ONLY. it just says on your next visit. she did not want to show me a policy in writing where it says that i have to dine in only to redeem a free short stack. i was trying to work with her by dining in and getting a to go box and she told me she will not give me a box. this server cristina was so mean no matter how nice i was. i told her that i would even buy a drink and tip her but she still was a mean person. im shocked that she would even refuse service to me when the restaurant was empty and needed business.

I had been going to this particular IHOP for 3 years at least once a week with either my family or my brother. For pretty much 2 of those 3 Ive been attended by the same people. In the last 4 months everyone is gone. I should have taken a hint... For 3 years Ive always eaten one dish. The Sirloin tips and eggs. Tonight was the final straw that broke the camels back. I asked for the same dish and: 1. No marinade. Food was dry, Onions and mushrooms were not sauteed. The server Jessica has only been there 2 months and is arguing with me what the plate should have in it. The customer is not always right, but to argue with a customer that eats the same dish on every visit is ridiculous. Its too bad but i will NEVER go back to this establishment. I will be calling the owner in the morning to let him know how his business is running.

Worst experience just eating at this place! Hats off to the chefs because their food was great! However, the credit machine went down and they tried to keep us hostage to wait for the machine to go up. After waiting for 45 minutes we finally had enough of waiting and decided to walk up to the counter to ask what was it that we owed and they wrote it on white paper. The manager then requested to write our credit information on a piece of paper. I disagreed to complete a transaction that way after past fraud complications. The manager then screamed at me and asked me what did I have in cash and I gave him 14 dollars and he yelled for us to leave! My first and last time coming to this place and I advise others not to go!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
