Got the Combo, the rib was pretty good. The fries were soggy with grease, and the meat was pretty greasy overall. The brisket was almost all fat. There was nothing special about the chopped pork and chicken. A lot of other BBQ joints I have gone to, the chopped meats have a lot of flavor, but not so much here. Some of the sauces provided at each table were a bit too runny for my taste, but the flavors were good. The corn bread muffin was dry, and they gave a single serving of (shudders) margarine to go with it. The decore of the restaurant left a lot to be desired, but no complaints about the music. Pretty disappointed overall, sorry.

Best BBQ Around extremely fresh. taste. I had the pulled pork larger sandwich, It was amazing. The fries taste like peanut oil fried. They have an obvious secret ingredients in the sauces, because they were vary tasty. and I was full and satisfied by the time I got out. I believe they make Their own cakes and deserts, witch were surprisingly vary good. The business also seamed family owned, Everyone seamed Happy and involved and supportive of the cause. I will be a regular of theirs. and I wish them good business.

I love atmosphere and the rock and roll memorabilia. I got the ribs and Pulled pork with greens, slaw, and corn bread. The staff was attentive, the cook was very knowledgeable about bbq sauces and styles of bbq. The ribs were sweet and paired very well with Rockin Red bbq sauce they make. The slaw was sweet and the greens cooked how they should be. The pulled pork went with mustard bbq sauce and with the sweet bbq. I am definitely coming back.

Update: They fixed the fridge! Just go! Highly recommended. Great food. Best pulled pork in Osceola County. Finally a local, BBQ place in Kissimmee that isnt a chain! Have to take one star off for atmosphere. The decor is great, but a faulty refrigerator/freezer in the front was creating a really heady fish smell that didnt go with the food at all. Fix that fridge, and its five stars for me!

Delicious. The atmosphere is great, the staff amazing. The only thing reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the corn bread wasnt sweet enough and the baked beans taste like Bushs Baked Beans and for a place whos ribs are so tender they should really have a house baked bean. My autistic son devoured his ribs and he is a very picky eater. Big Johns will be seeing me and my family again!

In my opinion the best bbq possibly in the state the brisket unreal the ribs worth writing home about were from Miami and have had bbq all up and down the state I recommend anyone who travels to the theme parks and wants a down home atmosphere restaurant this is it . Big Johns is the spot you go to for some home-cooking. The kind of place you go when you are craving some good brisket at more than reasonable prices. As a local Kissimmee spot, it is a gem and handily competes with 4Rivers when it comes to the quality of the meats. Now if you come here, do yourself a favor: come for breakfast and dinner. You will not regret it!

Four of us stopped by for a late lunch and the experience was great. The people are friendly and the food was amazing. I tried the fried okra from my moms plate and was surprised that it was good. I have never liked okra before but I will order some here next time. The sweet BBQ sauce was my favorite. Lots of great food on the menu. Will be back again.

Since leaving Oklahoma and Texas BBQ has been hit and miss until today. I am telling you this place rocks. The beans, fresh cut fries, and the sweet sauce are all home runs for me. The only reason for 4 stars, I was hoping for some smoked sausage. Other than that I will be back and loving every bite.

Excellent food! Fun people! Great unique atmosphere! Its what central Florida has needed for its locals. We cant get enough of their brisket and ribs! The "bob-special" for breakfast is a perfect way to start the day! Never had to wait for our order and the smoke ribs melt off the bone at lunch.

Thanks to waiting for over 20 min for order to be taken and then another 40 minutes with no food to any inside tables, we watched people who were seated outside get served within 15 minutes, we found a much better place. Thanks Catfish Place for better service and great food!! We will be back!

The food was 5 stars beef brisket awesome ,pulled pork great!!Mac and cheese tastes old and dry!skip it.the cashier and services leave a little to be desired. Not very nice although it could be they are very busy!!! Prices are great they need a new cashier she is not very happy

The food was ok, just your standard barbeque place. I would have appreciated it more if the quality of food was better for the prices. I can get the same stuff at very similar prices at 4Rivers at much better quality and taste. The staff were nice and helpful.

On top of the owner being my old football coach, the food was AMAZING. EVERYTHING on the sampler was good, and the sides r plentiful. It is stuffed in what some would call a small container, but there is a LOT inside. Coach got the best bbq spot in the county

Just for the food Id give it 5 stars, but the music was very loud. Nothing against rock music, but at 9:30am and loud enough that you cant here what the waitress is saying is not good. I left with the worst migraine and really couldnt enjoy my breakfast.

This is probably the best BBQ in the state. People should drive around with these bumper stickers instead of ones from creepy chain restaurants. Try the Brisket Sandwich and go for their Rockin BBQ sauce!

Perfectly smoke ribs, brisket and chicken. I barely wanted to use any sauce. But the sauces were good too and a nice variety. The sides were also tasty. Just go here.
