If you like dry food, this place is for you. I had The Texas combo of ribs and brisket with sides of hush puppies and fries. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich. Our excitement for bbq and hush puppies quickly evaporated. Of the lot, the pulled pork was horrendously dry. I almost couldnt choke down the bite I tried. Brisket should fall apart but this was pretty dry with the only signs of promise lying in the fat. Amazingly, even the fatty part, which I normally love, had a mealy texture. The ribs were almost the same with the only bits of juiciness in the fat itself. The hush puppies were our last hope. They tasted like hush puppies but, get this. They were overdone and dry. Everything seemed like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. On the bright side, my french fries were pretty good but then, Im not in the habit of paying $14.99 for fries. Well never set foot in this place again.

Called and placed an order on the phone, went in to pick it up and the order was never actually put into the computer, 2 people behind me that placed their order in the store got their food before me. The kitchen looked trashed (especially considering that it is an establishment with the kitchen in plain view), and its not like they were understaffed there were at least 5 people working if not more. Anyway the food was good and I do like their sauces going to place a to go order again and will revise review if things have improved. (everyone has a bad day now and again) Did an online order today 12/28/15 at around 5pm ask for it to be ready at 6pm at 6 I hear the girl in the back say that she hasnt started my order yet. Its like they have no clue how to do to go orders. Review add on, Im here waiting on my order again today they said it would be ready at 6:35 its now almost 7.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter and I stopped in for dinner tonight. We ordered pulled pork and brisket and macaroni and baked beans. When the food was finally delivered(only my daughters meal as mine was somehow forgotten), It was ALL cold. Mentioned this to the waitstaff, and was told it would be remade for us. After waiting 40 MINUTES for our food and still not receiving it, I finally had to go up to the register to ask for our meals to be packed up. Their excuse?? Their steam table wasnt working. And yet you continue to serve under-heated food to your customers? I am sure the health department would love to hear that.

Clean,organized& always a friendly,helpful staff to get whatever you need while your dining. Order,pay&receive your receipt with order # that will be called out & brought to your table. They check back with you like its a full service restaurant but no tip is expected. The manager&employees came out to check that all diners were happy. Today I chose the TEXAS:1/3 Slab of Ribs,Brisket,2 sides&cornbread $16.99. Its enough to make 2 meals for me.I had to work July 4th last year and planned on coming here after work to get some good bbq. To my surprise full slabs were $10 each! WHAT?

I worked for this establishment for roughly 3 months. Why was my employment so short? The environment was completely hostile, not to mention that I disagreed with most of their policies. The general manager attempted to get me fired by accusing me of stealing, threatening me, etc. This manager would curse at employees, throw things, and nearly hit me in the face. Not to mention, they do NOT clean their dishes- they simply let them sit in "soapy water" and then rinse them off. They also do not keep up to standards of food preparation when it comes to sanitation. DO NOT EAT HERE.

My fiancé and I stopped in for lunch expecting great BBQ considering it is called "Old Carolina BBQ". The sign on the front window clearly states that their meat is "slow cooked" for 14 hours. Right off the bat, when we received our food, it was cold. My fiancé got the brisket and ribs. If this meat was indeed slow cooked for 14 hours, it would NOT be so cold and hard, it would practically fall off the bone. This was not the case. The sides had no flavor, no seasoning/salt, and the cornbread was extremely mushy. For 35 dollars for the both of us, it just wasnt worth it.

Some of the best barbecue youll find at a chain. A touch on the expensive side, but generous helpings, especially on the platters. Four good options for the sauce, but the original and spicy "Screamin Beaver" really stand out here. Brisket can be a little chewy, but the pulled pork is always good. Strongly recommend trying the Cheerwine soda, its delicious and you cant find it anywhere else around here. Definitely worth the stop for a quick BBQ fix

I was craving barbeque chicken and I ordered the half chicken, it came out with no sauce on it at all and thats when I saw it was out in the dining area...also it only came with a cornbread muffin whereas I was expecting at least 2 sides...lastly no military discount so unfortunately this was my first and only visit..very disappointed

This is not BBQ, this is fast food. The sauces are weak and runny. The baked beans were mushy and flavorless. Ribs were horrible, over cooked, dry and tough. If they were cooked for 14 hours the heat was too high. For the price it just wasnt worth it. On the plus side Mac N cheese was outstanding. Service was polite and efficient.

Be sure to try the Brunswick Stew and the Carolina style BBQ sauce with the pulled pork!!! Great, friendly, caring staff like you were visiting ole friends when youre in their care. Also try the Cheerwine soft drink as its the ONLY place to get it in Ohio!! The sweet tea is great also. Lots on your plate, you wont leave hungry!!

Food is good but online ordering was poor. I pre-ordered 2 hours ahead of time. My order wasnt even started when I came to pick it up. Then it took them 25 minutes to put it together. When assembling the order they kept fumbling the contents and then ran out of corn bread. Wasnt their finest service moment but the food was good.

When I told them their was a bone in my pulled chicken sandwich they informed me it shouldnt have a bone. Well spotted. Uncomfortable chairs, boring food, dirty tables. Possibly my least favorite place, but as a friend likes it we ended up here.

The food here is wonderful! Whether youre looking for a casual place to dine in or get carry out, this is the place for you! Portions are large and delicious, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. Definitely recommend!

Less than thrilled. No smoke on meats...not any!!!! Sides were bland, overall appearance dirty, tables and windows need to be cleaned. Dont call it BBQ if its not. Come on, it sucked!
