I ordered take out from Brians. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. When I returned from work after picking up my meal I discovered I was not given a bun. I called Gail, to find out what I could do about my sandwich not being a sandwich and she took full responsibility for not giving me my bun and said if I wanted to come all the way back, she would give me one. I told her I couldnt because I was back at work and she said "Well, Im sorry". I worked in the hospitality industry for years and never did we let someone leave or get off the phone unhappy. She should have offered ways to make it right, seeing as my sandwich was definitely not a sandwich. The food is great, customer service is what my rating is based on. Ill go to Porkies.

Brians catered our wedding (March 2014) and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. The food was delicious and the staff that came out were polite and very professional. Organizing the catering for the wedding was a lot easier and more affordable than I was expecting. The manager and catering manager were so nice, organized, and flexible. If you like this style of bbq and have particular arrangements that are necessary - I definitely recommend Brians BBQ. A breeze to work with and delicious food. The catering truck was perfect for our event, thank you for helping reduce the stress of planning our wedding reception!

As someone who grew up in Missouri and moved to Florida, I hadnt found a bbq place down here that was up to my standards until I ate @ Brians. I had the brisket sandwich and it was tender and full of smoky flavor and a nice blend of seasonings. I mixed together the hot and sweet bbq sauce on my sandwich since they were both really good. I also had the salad bar and really enjoyed the chicken salad. I would highly recommend this place if you end up in Deland for some reason...Id say its even worth the drive from Sanford.

Went there Sunday after church. Was there 2 hours we had to wait so long for our food. Ask for take out box 4 times before getting one. First time to the lady manager. Other 3 times to waitress. Food was cool, not hot. Only given 1 slice of bread to make pulled pork sandwich. Had to pay for any additional bread. Had imitation bacon bits, not real bacon bits. Very slow service. Food not hot. Had to pay extra for bread. Poor food, poor service, poor all around. Will go to Sunnys next time.

I was hesitant when I read the reviews, but I went anyway. I was there twice this week, the first time baby back ribs. The second time Baby back ribs and steak. The restaurant was crowded, the food and the service on both visit was GREAT!! I do not know why they are getting bad reviews, I thought it was so bad I went twice this week and next time in town I will go again. BBQ is wonderful the baby back ribs were meaty and fall off the bone and enjoyed there hot BBQ sauce.

I have to start by saying that I am not a big BBQ guys. Must of the time it is too much and I dont like it, BUT... This place is amazing and every weekday there is a deal to take advantage. Must people like the Monday special. 5 cent beers (first 3 beers) with a meal. We have been going on Thursdays for all you can eat spare ribs for $14.99. (including sides) The photos attached explain how much i loved the baby back ribs. BTW, prepare for the decor... lol

I always liked coming here in the past but they just do not compare anymore. I ordered a half pound burger that looked smaller than a quarter pound and when I asked the young waitress was this the right size she used her hands to describe me how a patty was made and that they each are weighed before cooking. I swear it went on and on. I thought I was in preschool on a field trip. I still give them three stars for the salad bar.

We love going to Brians! The prices are great, the salad bar has all the stuff I like, and the meats are smoked just right. Dont go to those chain restaurants if you want really GREAT smoked meats. Instead, try the delicious smoked turkey, the half chicken, or their delicious fried fish or shrimp. Plus, beers are only 5 cents on Mondays (check that before you go in case that is no longer the case).

Second time I have eaten here in the last two weeks. Its just not good. Salad bar is fine, but the cooked food is not done even remotely properly. Sliced pork is dried out and hard, garlic toast is dry, hard, and burnt. Had the steak on my second visit, it was cooked to the proper temperature, but too char broiled for my taste. They will get one more try then I will be done.

I just got a plate of pulled fat. When I said something, the waitress got real snotty and told me pulled pork often has fat in it. The manager gave some line about pre-portioned servings. I didnt get that, I just wanted a different plate. Never got it, but they had the NERVE to charge me for my tea. Ill be going to the new Sonnys next time.

Friendly service, Great meal with nice portions. I had the Baby Back Ribs. They were tender, grilled with a nice sweet sauce. The steak fries were crisp and the beans had a nice sweetness. My wife had the fish. It had a nice light breading with a great taste. I eat at a lot of BBQ places. This one is the best in town by far.

Food was very good with good portions. . ▶ ▶ On veterans day, vets eat free with military ID. ▶▶ On 9/11 first responders eat free with ID (police, fire fighters, EMTs) Those two points alone is worth 5 stars!! Our waitress Susan, was a hoot! She has a great personality, a great memory, and gave 25 of us superb service.

I got the jumbo spare ribs. They were indeed jumbo, but super greasy and just not my favorite. My husband had the sliced pork And said it was amazing, great flavor, great portion. I gave this four stars only because he really liked his dinner. I would go to Dustins for ribs next time.

The place was clean. The ribs, chicken wings, pork sandwich, French fries, and bread were AMAZING! I dont like bbq, but my husband does so we went there. I was expecting to not like the food as always at bbq restaurants, but this is defiantly worth going back for.

Today was finished off with a great country style restaurant called bryans bbd. I had the beef brisket lunch plate with Mac n cheese and cheesy bacon grits. Im not usually a fan of grits but theirs were really good...I ate everything off my plate

First time today, absolutely great, got the combo and everything was fantastic. The best BBQ chicken we ever had, crispy skin and melt in your mouth chicken. Our waitress Suzan was fun and took good care of us. It is our new favorite BBQ place.

Me and my wife order here pretty regularly. For $24 we get a huge burger, grilled chicken sandwich and a big side of corn nuggets. Staff is always friendly on the phone and when we pick up! Love this place because they serve "real food"
