Im a sucker for any place that describes their food as "local" and "sustainable". I wanted to like this place -- but frankly, the experience really sucked. Now, Im not the kind of guy to walk into a place 15 minutes before they close -- I hate that. My husband and I strolled in around 10:20 PM, 40 minutes before they close. I thought it might be fine, but as soon as we walked in, my gut instinct said maybe we should go somewhere else -- in between the unnecessarily loud music and nearly empty restaurant, something seemed off. Regrettably, I put my reservations aside for the sake of hunger. Our server was polite, but clearly wanted us to order quickly. We complied and ordered two of the "Brick burgers" cooked "medium", and tried both kinds of beer they have on draft (both good). I would have liked to have been more adventurous with the menu, but feeling a bit rushed to make a decision, we just wanted to be simple. I figured a burger was a quick and easy thing to order. The wait seemed really long considering how dead the restaurant was. At around 10:45 server came to our table to let us know it would just be a couple more minutes. We got our food right as the restaurant was officially closed (11:00 PM). The real disappointment was not the wait, it was the food. Now, I get it, a burger isnt exactly a culinary masterpiece. But, it is something that many restaurants have, so its a good baseline for comparison of food quality. The burger patty itself wasnt "bad", just REALLY under-cooked. My husband didnt eat more than 1/4 his, it was too under-cooked for him to feel safe eating it. We sure werent going to send food back in a restaurant thats closed with most of the chair legs pointing towards the ceiling. The "fries" were massive potato wedges. Like most Americans, Im pretty down with fried potatoes -- but these had a soapy/chemical taste. For me, the worst part was the sauce on the burger. Advertised on the menu as "Brick Sauce", I made a [bad] assumption that it would be something house-made and special. I should have asked. It was cheap BBQ sauce -- something I dont like on burgers. It tasted like a grocery store brand knock off of Sweet Baby Rays. The bacon on the burger was fatty and had a gross texture. It was truly the worst $16 I have ever spent on a burger. The HIGHLIGHT of the experience was learning that they validate parking. I guess I cant really speak to their full menu, but honestly do not get the burger. If you want a good burger from a restaurant that sources food locally, go to Kush in Wynwood.

Came here for Sips N Selfies happy hour with friends. The restaurant has an earthy airy uncluttered design. It also has decent size bar where the event took place but quickly filled to full capacity by 7:30 so thank goodness we came early. We started with a selection of complimentary cocktails. My favs were Fizzy Pink (Western Son Grapefruit Vodka w/ Champagne) and the Prickly Pear Martini. Both were refreshing, not too sweet and quite potent. We ordered several bites from their main menu. The Mixed Mushroom pizza was fantastic. Nice toasty crust and the veggies were fresh. Then followed by Chicken Biscuit Sliders, Sour Dough Grilled Cheese and Roasted Cauliflower Mac & Cheese. Everything was delicious but loved the Cauliflower Mac & Cheese because of the rich flavor from smoked gouda mixed with bits of panko. It was hot, gooey and cheesy, not watery so we got another when we moved to the table. Our friend ordered the Smoked Gouda Grits. She gave us a taste and it was just as yummy as the mac & cheese. She also shared this scrumptious dessert called Blond Brownie Affogato. Wow. Just decadent! Also the prices were reasonable. 6-15 bucks for apps, pizza and sandwiches. Very impressed with the food quality and the service was also great. It was packed but the bartenders / servers kept their cool and prepped cocktails as fast as they can.

The food was good but my experience for brunch was not pleasant. Thank you for the waiter that informed after bringing me the $10 glass mimosa that the $20 bottomless mimosas is 85% orange juice and 15% cheap proseco. He assumed I wanted the $10 glass mimosa when I actually went in for the bottomless mimosas. The bowl of fruit took 1 hr to come to the table and that was after asking why it was taking so long. I was expecting for the fruit bowl to be assorted really nice after taking so long but it was actually a plain bowl of fruit. They werent that busy for the hour wait. I loved the fact that they are pet friendly and I am planing to go back to give it another try, I just hope to get a different server.

We went for dinner at The Brick and they had a variety of appetizers and entrees. We had three massive hanger steak with chimichuri that was cooked at three different temperatures and they all came out excellent. It came with mac & cheese with cauliflower (you might think that this is vegan), but you couldnt even taste the cauliflower. One of the other plates we had was the pork tenderloin that melted in your mouth with these HUGE fries. The beer was COLD and to top it off we had the chocolate cup cake. Service was excellent!!!

Beautiful place and decor. The night and first time we went there was no A/C in the building, the hostess shouldve warned us when we called to make the reservation. Poor food presentation and very simple taste, I had the rib eye special and my husband the lamb shank. We asked for bread and never came, however the waiter was very nice and their cocktails are great. I thoughts, the cuisine of these place has been over rated on the prior comments. And now to the next restaurant!!!!

Ive been here a few times and literally everything has been phenomenal. All the food is farm-to-table and it tastes so good! Meeting Cory was an absolute delight and honor to see the hard work and dedication it takes for a restaurant like this. I will definitely continue eating here and telling everyone about it.

While the food was quite good and very fresh, it took 30min from the time we sat down to get our wedge salad. It actually came out just after our entrees. The waiter took the salad off our bill, an appropriate gesture, but the kitchen needs to get their act together.

Food is pricey but totally worth it! Staff is super friendly and respectful! Grab a few drinks and talk to the bartender Michael! One Badass dude! By the way, you guys had my two favorite foods in one. Gouda and Grits! Compliments to the chefs!

The place is amazing - service was super friendly and attentive. The grilled cheese and tomato bisque were superb. It was simply done the way it should be. Shrimp tacos could be rethought, but otherwise very satisfied.

We came for Brunch and i got the "which came first", overall the dish was decent. The chicken was way overcooked and dry, however the cauliflower mac was really good. The staff where really friendly which was a plus .
