Its my sons 19th birthday so we thought we would try something different and give Indian food a try. This was our first experience with Indian cuisine and let me tell you, we are now huge fans. From the moment we walked into Gurus we felt extremely welcome and could smell the amazing aromas as they danced in the air. We were greeted by friendly, smiling, excited faces who were eager to share this awesome thing they helped create with us. From the drinks, to the lentil chips (sorry I cant remember the name), to helping us navigate the menu and each items ingredients, it was all a wonderful experience. But when the food came, OMG! It was some of the best food (out of any type cuisine) that I have ever eaten. You could taste the care, love, and passion they put into preparing our meal, and the way their faces lit up to see how much we enjoyed every single thing they brought us was priceless. It was more than just a meal to feed the body, it was an experience to feed the soul. Thank you so much for helping my son and I to make such a wonderful memory. We will always remember our amazing introduction to Indian cuisine and the beautiful time we had at Gurus. We will definitely be back. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

I have been recommended this place for awhile now and was nervous as Ive never had "traditional" Indian food. After trying this I cant believe I have waited this long! My wife is very picky vegetarian and she loved everything, from appetizers,bread,and entree. Everything is very fresh that is easy determine after all your senses experience the dining. I had quite a bit of takeout and it is better today then yesterday! Unfortunately they are not in the best location so it may be tricky to find, as well I think a smaller lunch or to-go menu might be a better option for lunch. The owner explains the style and ingredients in the food as well as anything else you may have a question, we felt very comfortable eating here and will be back.

Wonderful...Excellent...could not have been better. Friend and I went out for a nice dinner before she goes home tomorrow. Neither of us know anything about Indian food. Went by at lunch and found it closed but we could see inside and the linen table clothes and live flowers on the tables caught our interest. We went back for dinner and the waitress explained everything with a smile and a lot of patience. The service was perfect and the food so good. The owner stopped by our table to check on us. This is a hidden gem you will not want to miss. One other nice element is that this is not a large franchise but locally owned.

Ive had a few dishes from here; their naan is excellent and they have four varieties (normal, garlic, onion, and one with raisins in it which is awesome). Ive had two of the chicken dishes- Tikka Masala and Korma. Korma was one of the best indian dishes Ive had anywhere. Tikka Masala wasnt bad, but Korma was really, really good. Lots of bold flavor, a bit of spice but not too much, and throw in some well cooked basmati rice and an order of naan and you have a dynamite meal. My plan was to get each chicken dish so I could try them all but I dont know how Im ever going to make myself get anything other than korma again.

I had a very limited experience with Indian food before trying this wonderful restaurant, and my husband had never had it. We have been back MANY times since that first foray and every time the food gets better and better! The owner Uday is a wonderful host, very accommodating, explains anything you may be unfamiliar with, and even let my husband see how they made their naan!! Amazing experience everytime we go. Ive introduced many people here and would recommend it to anyone that loves Indian or is just trying it for the first time. P.S. the chicken Korma is my favorite.

Very pleasant restaurant. Food was excellent, it was different from what I have tasted in other places but that added to the experience. We were made very welcome by staff and Uday Kadam the owner and chef. Staff were very efficient and were able to describe meals and answer questions and the service was fast. The restaurant was very nice and clean inside with it s lovely white tablecloths, something you dont see very often now. Prices were reasonable. Many of the customers were returning guests who were warmly greeted and that is a good sign. I will definitely go back.

Excellent value for the money. Good size portions, excellent ambience, great tasting food and ample parking. I have been here many times in the last few months, tried several different entrees, and never had a bad experience. Id definitely recommend it even to people who do not like spicy food as the Guru makes their food as mild or as spicy as you like. My favorites here are Beef Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef Rogan Josh, Bombay Aloo, Shrimp Biryani, Beef Biryani, Chicken Hyderabadi, and of course, Mango Lassi.

This place was amazing, from the moment my girlfriend and I walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming. as well as tasteful in the decor.. We were sat at a table by the window, and our server was extremely helpful (Were not accustomed to Indian cuisine) in our choices. I ended up choosing the Beef Korma, and my lady chose the Beef Vindaloo. Everything was extremely flavorful, it was well worth the money, I will definitely be returning!

We love the food, service and the friendly atmosphere. I have looked for an Indian restaurant in Clermont for many years. Since I am a vegetarian there is so much to choose from the menu. I wish them luck, and that they will be around for a long time. Another thing, they allow you to bring your own bubbly to have a toast on special occasions, which we have celebrated many times there.

This place is absolutely amazing! Nice decor and ambiance, and our server Karina made the experience with her incredible service and great knowledge of the menu. And the food... so delicious, and great selection. I will continue to come back to this restaurant, as it was by far one of the better experiences Ive had!

The restaurant was mentioned to me on Thursday and tried Yesterday Sunday, the onion bhaji was not the best I have had, BUT everything else was good, Totally enjoyed it all anyway, will defiantly return my wife liked the vegetarian dishes. We did the take out, next time we will eat there!! Thank you VERY GOOD!

Delicious Indian dishes with choices of mild/medium/hot spiciness (medium is like hot elsewhere). Also nice is that in vegetable choices, we could order as "side dish" versus "main dish." Only negative is that the mango ice cream hardly had mango taste & no pieces of mango - had more of milky taste.

My girlfriend and I love Indian food, after eating at many Indian restaurants, this place is definitely our favorite. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere and decor was top notch, and most of all the food was the best we have had. It was like eating authentic home made Indian food.

A MUST TRY! My family just ordered takeout for here and EVERYTHING was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! BEST Indian food I have had in a long time! This is the first time I have EVER written a review. The owner and staff were Wonderful. You gotta try this place! You will not be disappointed!
