I heard so much about this pizza restaurant and was wondering what all the hype was about! Im a New Yorker and it is very hard to find a pizza place that compares to New York pizza. So, relying on the reviews, I decided to try this pizza. I was terribly disappointed. They only have a 14 inch pizza and the charge was equivalent to a large pizza price anywhere else. The service was terrible, the pizza dough was dry as cement, the toppings were meager, and, most importantly, the price for this medium, one-topping pizza was excessive. It was lunch time and there was no one in the restaurant when we came in. Business slow??? Anyway, there is no way that I will return to this establishment. Gourmet, I think not! If you want a good New York style pizza, try Pizza Pub.

Probably THE best pizza in all of Southwest Florida. I used to get the House Special with the chunky sauce (you can also get a smooth sauce) once a week, then I switched to a white pizza, the shrimp scampi pizza. My taste buds start dancing before I open the door. I got hooked on this place in 1997. I tried other places and I still do when new ones arrive but they never come close to Pizza 2000. I also love their Gorgonzola salad. Great salad too. Im originally from the Philly area and this pizza house beats them all, even the ones in Philly. 5 stars all the way.

I am a regular diner at Pizza 2000. I hear the pastas are great, but all I ever order is their fabulous pizza. The sauce is homemade - full of flavor and chunky tomato bits. All the ingredients are premium. Even though they use aged, not fresh mozzarella, it is flavorful. The pizza crust develops a wonderful "toothsomeness" if you let the pie cool a bit, though this is hard to do with your mouth watering for each bite. I have NEVER had bad service in 30 some visits in the year since I was introduced ot Pizza 2000. Cudos to the staff.

It depends what is important to you. The food is amazing great gormet pizzas, amazing sandwitches & pasta but they have the worst service in town. They are almost more famous for the bad staff than there awsome food. its a double edged sword. and forget about delivery they basically deliver when they feel like it. All i have to say is it is time that they clean house - after that they will be on top!!

House specialty pizza was excellent. Also, got a Pepperoni and Jalapenos, as well as a cheese pizza. Delivery within 45 minutes, fresh out of the oven. Expectation set for the time of delivery, so i wasnt disappointed. Ill be ordering it again, like today.

Always good, Chelsea , Josiah and Austin take excellent care if the customers , and owner Rodney can be found in the kitchen. Great, salads, pizza and pasta. We are locals and patronize this restaurant almost every week.

Ive been eating there for years and have never had a bad meal everything ok thing on their menu is fantastic it is true about the service occasionally they are overwhelmed or in a bad mood but generally is pretty decent

Our family has been eating here for the past 15 years. We love the different gourmet pizzas and rosemary bread is fantastic. Sometimes there is a wait, but that is what happens when you are good! Many good memories.

I absolutely love this place! The salads are excelent and served in chilled bowls. The cesear salad has a light dressing that is delicious and still very healthy. We always have great service and fresh food.

I ordered a pasta dish and stuff mushrooms, it was so nasty. Not fresh at all. I ate there once before and the pizza was ok, but the pasta sucks....no flavor.
