Good food, great service and management. Boston Pizzeria is more of a small Italian restaurant than exclusively a pizza parlor. Their menu has dishes typical of most authentic Italian joints: pizza (of course), pasta dishes, calzones, gyros, and a few other options. I went with a fairly large group of coworkers and the service was impressive. The little Italian lady had a thick accent, but she was very good about checking on us frequently and making sure everyone was taken care of. As far as Im aware, all 15 or so orders came out exactly as they were supposed to, sans a few orders of fries that the waitress quickly brought out. My order the Greek calzone, which was large and completely packed with gyro meat, olives, and tomatoes. The quality was good, definitely one of the better calzones Ive had in Spartanburg. As for pricing, I got my calzone and a coworkers gyro platter and drink for about $25. Perhaps a little more steep than I expected, but not bad for the amount of food. The owner was working the cash register, as indicated to me by another coworker. He was very polite, and greeted every customer with a warmth not often seen in restaurants. Overall, a very pleasant experience. With far more than just pizza, this place seems like very authentic Italian.

I took my mom and aunt here for lunch today, the food was good and we had a very nice waitress. I had a specialty calzone and I asked If they could add chicken. In the calzone section the menu says "all additional toppings are $1.50 each". When we went to pay for our I was charged $3.00 because the Owner said that he voluntarily added $3.00 worth of chicken and did not tell myself or the waitress this beforehand nor is that the price on the menu. He did not refund me and he told me I shouldve asked if I was going to be charged $3.00, although the menu and my waitress told me it would be $1.50. He started arguing with my mother because she asked him how would we know that the price would be $3.00 if it doesnt say that on the menu and if our waitress told us it would be $1.50. He cursed her out, called her names and told her to never come back to his restaurant if she was going to "complain about the charge". He also told his waitress to next time ask him what he wants to charge so that he wouldnt have customers complaining about his prices that arent consistent with the menu. He was very rude and disrespectful and his customer service was beyond poor, I will never eat there again.

My wife and I finally got a lunch date after years of never getting any alone time. We went at about 2:00 so it was relatively empty. Great service. Ordered our drinks and upon delivery ordered our food. We ordered the fried cheese ravioli for an appetizer. My wife ordered pasta alfredo with chicken and I had the Greek Combination plate. We were worried everything would be delivered simultaneously but our server did a great job of staggering the salad, then appetizer, then meal. Food was excellent and portions were humongous. My wifes alfredo could have fed both of us and still had enough to take home. The Greek Combination was awesome. Have never had moussaka. It was superb. The meats (beef gyro meat, chicken/pork souvlaki) were tender. Pita bread was hot. When I asked about the moussaka, the owner/chef came out and told me his recipe. Upon checking out, the owner/chef gave my wife and I 2 free pieces of baklava to take home. Excellent restaurant that will become our permanent date spot when are in town.

Best pizza ever and I had Pizza from all over this country! I have no idea why the persons that posted the bad reviews did so--none of their complaints are true from what Ive seen. Been going there since 2007 and the service is friendly and fast. The owner even greets you by name after youve been there quite a bit. I tell everyone I meet about this establishment. So, the rest of you people that gave them bad ratings, just keep on eating the cheap,cardboard Lil Cesars, Pizza Hut, CiCis garbage that you love.

Called to place an order at 9:15pm and they at first, were very nice but I overheard in the background that someone told them to tell me they were closed. It clearly says they close at 10:00 and it usually takes 15-23 minutes to make. I was very disappointed with this experience and will not be giving them my business nor do I recommended it, might have pretty good food but your service was unprofessional!

The food is excellent! The waitresses are very nice, I have always been happy with my meals and desserts! They also offer senior discounts! and who would think a simple salad of lettuce, 1 cucumber,1 black olive and feta cheese can be so good! Their hot wings are to die for! HMMMM on my way there now! I highly recommend this restaurant!

My family moved to Spartanburg SC a little over a year ago 2014/15 and Boston pizza is the most friendly, home oriented Greek / Italian restaurant Ive been to:) great food, great people, great service I would recommend to everyone moving here!!! Or that has lived here your whole life!!

This place has really gone to hell. The owner yells at the waitress in front of his guests. He is never consistent with his pricing. The waitresses he hires now are rude and dont care about the customers, they just want the money. The food is overpriced and not worth the money.

The food tasted like rubber. The waitress was not attentive at all. The bill was very expensive. We were over charged by $15.00. And the cashier had the nerve to ask if we were leaving a tip on the table. First time there and wont be going back.

Purchased a buffalo chicken pizza and side of cheese sticks and was charged $30 for a $24 ticket. Second time I bought the same thing, was charged $27 for the exact same thing. be more consistent.
