On a Thursday afternoon in June, of 2015, when the world championship for the most popular sport on the planet was being played, and shown on at least one national broadcast and two major cable channels, I walked into this establishment. Before sitting down, I looked at each of the TVs, and didnt see a single one tuned to any of the three games scheduled to be televised that day. I left, and walked a short distance down the street, into a restaurant that didnt advertise themselves as a “sports bar”, and found three different TV sets with a World Cup championship soccer game being played. Maybe “Hideaway” means theyre refugees from a different planet?

Its a small local pub. They have karaoke and a lube singer sometimes. They get a decent crowd usually. Its not empty, but its not that big. Its not trendy at all, but prices are good and the staff is really nice. I walked by one night when they had a band and it was jam packed and had an exciting atmosphere.

Cant say we ran into the " Big Penis" Bartender Cary; but we did have beers. The place was cozy but they dont offer much of a selection for food during the week. Would suggest to anyone just looking to relax & be served promptly with a cocktail. Sandwhich menu only during the week :(

great atmosphere, my favorite bar downtown. some amazing shots like the sausage and pancakes and the pretzel! I dont know how they do it but they taste just like the name.

Ive always had great times here. They have a phat pour on their cocktails. Tish is a legend in the downtown Ft Myers bar scene. A dont miss bar.

$5.00 for a Corona at 4:00 in the afternoon with no entertainment is excessive. Most places downtown are between $4.00 and $4.50.
