My husband and I frequent Cabos roughly once a week to every two weeks. Generally, the food and service are wonderful, and we love people-watching while we eat. That being said, the service can be extremely hit-or-miss. Generally, the women servers are all great-personable, great customer service, and smile, which customers tend to like and tip well for, right? Even the male servers are ok-to-great, WITH the exception of Henry. I dont really like calling people out, but this is try #3 with Henry, and Ive got to say, this time, I actually had to leave the restaurant hungry. To me, that is UNACCEPTABLE. Were pretty easy-going people, so normally, I would chalk this up to just being a rough day for the server/restaurant, but heres the scenario: my husband has terminal brain cancer. Because I work, we are only able to get out-and-about (i.e. eating out downtown, checking out the book store at the mall, etc.) about once a week. So when we get a chance to eat at Cabos, its especially nice because not only can we eat wonderful food, we get to people-watch, as mentioned before, and just get to spend time around others, as cancer tends to be a fairly limiting, and antisocial experience. This has not been the case when we get Henry. Try #1, my husband and I both ran out of our drinks-and NEVER got refills. Not horrible, but when your tips depend on your service to your customers, this is not especially great. Try #2, I mentioned getting dessert (which we dont do very often), and right after saying this, our bill was thrown on the table for us to pay and cash-out. I asked something to the effect of "What if we wanted dessert?" I was told he could add it on to the bill if needed. Hmmmm. Not great, I had to say, and this time, I left a note on the back of the receipt, detailing that generally, you want to encourage customers to spend as much as possible, as your tip is generally a reflection of such. Not especially ecstatic with Henry at this point, right? Well, today, try #3, I order (I literally order the same thing--every--time--we--go). Well, Henry comes over with our lunches, but no appetizer. I asked where the appetizer was, as we were expecting that first. I was told they were behind, and he brought our food out so it wouldnt get cold. Nice gesture, so we just ran with it. I started eating my tacos. They werent even close to what I ordered. Not cool. I seriously dont ask for much on these outings, but if Im not happy, and this is try #3, you should expect a bad review. I apologize, but thats just too much, especially with our situation. I told Henry that my order wasnt right, and he basically told me to suck-it-up, because thats what I got. I literally left the restaurant hungry. I only order 2 tacos, and I LEFT HUNGRY. How is that even possible?!? For the most part, Cabos is a wonderful eating establishment, but I think we might not be back for a long time, and if we DO return, we are definitely NOT sitting at a table Henrys covering. :( Please dont left my review keep you away from trying or frequenting Cabos, however, I just think you should be very selective of your server(s).

My wife and I and friends had Lunch At Los Cabos Cantina in Fort Myers on Sunday October 5, 2014. Service and food were very good and I definitely would go back when in Fort Myers again. The main reason I am writing the review is for the fact that my wife discovered very late Sunday night she had left her phone at the restaurant. We were already back at home in Boca Raton about a 3 hour ride southeast of Fort Myers. She called immediately the restaurant opened on Monday morning and spoke to the manager ANJA. She said she had the phone that the server found it and turned it in. I am very grateful for the honesty of the server. She said I could pick it up anytime. When my wife explained we lived in Boca Raton, my wife asked if we sent her a UPS label could she possibly send it to us. She readily agreed and my phone arrived without incident. Many, many, thanks to Anja and her staff. One thing I thought was funny they did not serve any coffee. The server said they didnt even have a coffee machine of any type. LOL Im not a coffee drinker and it certainly is not a deal breaker. Like I said before I will return to Los Cabos Cantina if ever in Fort Myers again. Thank you

nce a week we do ladies night and we decided on this place and we had a great meal and even better service. Then again ever single time I come here I have awesome service. Although today was the time I met Ricky and glad we sat at the bar. We started with chips and salsa for the longest time because we were talking and drinking we totally forgot an hour and some later we hadnt order dinner, oops! Ordered chimichanga with rice and beans, taco salad, and beef enchiladas.... Talk about delish!!! Although we were more on drinking and had so many chips and salsa we ended up taking most of our dinner home. Now as full as we were got dessert only because it was free with two entrees on Yelp!! So we ordered the snicker dessert, Omg yummy!! Another successful ladies night out, so thank you Ricky and the manager Gus for making a table visit!!

Amazing!!! Six stars across the board. It was my first visit (and there will be many more). My husband and I each ordered the ribs, (outstanding) with two side dishes. My nephew ordered a chicken taco dish that he put on facebook. He made sure to inform everyone that they were missing out. Our waitress (Javanna) excellent server with a matching personality (she deserves a raise). She really was on point for them to be beyond busy. We waited thirty minutes to be seated but it was well worth it. Whoever was cooking Friday March 3rd @ 7pm, Thank You, everything was perfect. My only complaint is that I was not able to eat all my food in one setting. Thank you Los Cabos Cantina for making my familys first visit worth writing about. We will be back with friends and whoever else would like their tastebuds to jump for joy.

My husband and children had lunch here last week when we were visiting Ft Myers, We have family and business associates who live in Ft Myers and frequently visit the area. The food was good but the behavior of the waitress was appalling for my children to hear and see. The poor girl who was training was apologizing for her co-workers attitude when she saw we needed attention and came to ask what we needed, our waitress was too busy talking to other employees in a bullish way as my son said she was cursing, she was loud and used profanity in ears reach of my children. It was amazing to see such a low class person in such a nice environment, my husband and I will not recommend this place to our business associates nor our family. I guess there are Bimbos in the best of establishments. The Bonser Family

Service was horrible, once we were seated no sever cane to the table for 5-6 minutes until we flagged down one. She said the server was busy with a large party but told us she would get her. Another 6 minutes go by and the same server came back and said "looks like Im your waitress" over 12 minutes no service on top of the 15 minutes just waiting to get a table. Upset, we asked for a manager, she comes over 3-4 minutes later, super rude, loud with excuses that the servers were new BUT not once did she apologize about the delays. After more blame game we decided to leave! If youre looking for a out of town experience as we were (visiting Christmas holiday) I would strongly recommended not going to this blame game establishment unless youre looking for service with an excuse!
