I had to give it one star,but they deserve none. We placed 3 simple wing orders with fries, and was told it would take 45 min. The order total was less than $30. The order was placed at 2:02pm 9/18. At 3:32 we called to ask when we could expect the food. We were told the driver already left. I called back at 4:27 and was hung up on. I called back and held until Natalie answered the phone. I asked for the manager and Natalie advised that she was the manager. I told her our order was placed over two hours ago, and no food has been delivered. She asked some questions, and there seemed to be some trouble finding it. I heard a male employee complaining about a customer in the background, using foul language. Natalie NEVER offered an apology, NOT ONE. As I waited for her to locate the order I decided to sip my fruit punch. This too was warm and had NO ice. My co-worker ordered a Sprite, it came in a can, also warm to the touch. At this time Natalie began to tell me that we would receive a 50% off credit for our next order. AGAIN, no apology, so why would I come back???? I advised there will be no next time. Her next response was, "so you want me to have the driver come back to pick up the food for a full refund." I was dumbfounded! I said YES! So now this "manager" is going to cause more food orders to be late over $30. Whoever owns this establishment has the absolute worst people representing them. So your driver is coming back, God knows when to pick up wings that we all bit off of. If this "manager" had at least apologized, we would have accepted the half off credit, albeit reluctantly and moved on with our day. If this driver does not show up by the time I leave work, I will dispute the charge with my card company and we will be showing up to pick up the cash portion of the order. UPDATE to the above complaint above: So the "manager" said the driver was coming back with our refund and to pick up their food. We waited...and waited...finally called at 5:49 and Natalie says she is still coming and she was waiting to be relieved. We said no, we will bring it. We get there and the "manager" was standing behind the register with her hand out. She says NOTHING. We hand her the bag and the drinks. She handed it to another "employee" wearing headphones and bopping around the counter like she has no job. The "employee" then asked the "manager" if she "bought more ice". These people had no ice when we ordered! They were clearly not ready to open after the storm. These people were not coming back to provide a refund, they were going to close! The dancer employee was then asked to throw away the food we brought back with a please and a thank you...so Ms "manager" does have manners; just uses them selectively. She gives the cash back to my friend and refunds my card and has the NERVE to ask if I want to keep the now hot fruit punch I have in my hand. NO I dont want it. This little hood rat spot will never see my face or dollars ever again. Order placed at 2:02, I am now officially done with this place over 5 HOURS LATER!

THIS PLACE IS GARBAGE!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WEAK ASF! First off the lady who answered the phone barely let me speak and was basically rushing my order to get to the next customer and I tried to order food with my card over the phone and the lady told me that they dont take cards over the phone unless youre ordering from a workplace. I said maam but its my card, cant you have the driver verify it and then I asked to speak to the manager and she assured me that the manager was not present. She also went on to say that she noticed by my voice that Im "too young" to have a card. This is not the first time I was greeted by a rude ass employee and if you dont want to either just eat SOMEWHERE else because this place is going down in flames slowly but surely with that kind of attitude behind the phone.

Unfortunately, there was not an option for zero stars, so I have to give them one. This is my second time dealing with Pelicans and both times were negative. Both times I placed orders, one for pick up and one for delivery and neither one was on time. The pick up was not ready until 45 mins. after it was scheduled to be ready. The delivery took 2 hours and 30 minutes to arrive. We kept calling and asking where our food was and kept being told it would be there in 15 mins. When the food did come it was cold, there were no forks and no salad dressing for the salad. No apologies offered, nothing to make up for the poor customer service, no phone calls to explain the delays. I will not be ordering from them EVER again and neither will anyone else in my organization. ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

THE. ABSOLUTE. WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER!!!!!! I literally had to call right back and cancel my order after really thinking about how RUDE the cashier was over the phone. I believe she said her name was CHELSEA!! If this was my business Id fire her ASAP!! Her attitude is horrible. I hate when I cant even support my own kind because they have such ignorant and ghetto people working for them. Its as if they hire their family members who could care less about their business. Customer service is everything! It can make or break a company. The way these people are treating PAYING customers is ridiculous; they will never succeed as a business!! Smh!! Worst experience ever!!!! Really upset I had to give one star, they dont deserve even a half of a star.

Worst experience every time. Ghetto, ratchet customer service. No one there has manners. Every time I order from them they mess up my order or forget something. Every time. I paid for sone mangos never received them. When I told the so called manager with the red hair she looked at me like I was stupid. Their food is very cheap but that shouldnt make your customer service suck. The only one there with sense a the delivery guy. Everybody else is rude and ignorant. I see why some ppl dont support black businesses. Theyre very unprofessional and I will never order from them again.

The food is so delicious..... The staff is so friendly and they also call you to let you know that your food is ready..... There is so much to choose from on the menu.....and Mrs Debra makes the best brownies....and lets not forget the sweet potatoes pies....they are to die for.... Trust me i can eat there every single day. You might have to wait a bit because they cook the food when your order but i dont mind cuz its goood

Honestly this is one of the best places you can eat they are always greeting you and making sure youre satisfied I come in at least twice a week my kids order from school almost everyday lol Ive been eating here since theyve been in the plaza great set of ppl and the skinny lady I believe shes the owner is ALWAYS amazing and sweet and the older lady who makes the brownies is such a sweetie love this place
