Unfortunately the wait is about 30 minutes around 700 pm for inside air conditioned seating, partially because some of the seats are gone for the evening band setting up. Unfortunately also, is the vast amount of cigarette smoke on in the out door waiting area. Not so good with 4 kids with you. Since the band was about to start the hostess offered to coordinate the furthest table away from the band to help protect the little ears of our 4 kids. We waited about 40 minutes for our table and were all a sweaty mess by time we got seated because of the June humidity outside while we waited. Bathrooms are unisex, 2 of them with one hole each. Not dirty when we used them. Live music started at 802pm. We sat as far back as possible. Was a bit loud which made it difficult to have a conversation at the table. Kids menu available. Wait for food took a little longer than expected but they apologized without prompting. Brandi was our waitress and she was very nice and very attentive, way moreso than most places we have been to in the past year. We didnt have to ask for refillsfrink refills once. You must ask for Ketchup which comes out in small paper containers. The bbq sauce is very vinegary. The onion rings were bland to us, with no flavor. The kids Mac and cheese meal looks like Kraft Mac and cheese and comes only with a drink and nothing else. They have a military discount but it was 10% off of one meal, so my discount was under $1.65 on a 71 dollar check The new Dunedin parking plan is a nightmare. If you run out of time before your meal is done, there is a payment station right outside 4lthe door, however the option 2, to add time will not allow you to proceed because the + time button will not add time. You are forced to do option 1 only which is to start a new ticket . this is obviously a way for the city of Dunedin to increase their revenue at your expense.

This review is based purely on the aspect of the service we received. Our food, as always was delicious.....even though we waited almost an hour for it on a night where the restaurant was almost empty. Plain and simple, Ilene was a terrible server. She was rude from the very beginning to the very end of our experience that night. She was slow at getting us drink refills and must have forgot to put in our order. She acted put out to even have to wait on us when everyone in our group was nothing but sweet and polite to her. We still tipped her decently because we know that servers dont make great wages, but after leaving the restaurant we discussed how we should at least make people aware that good service is something you pay for and bad service is unacceptable. There are plenty of other people that would love Ilenes job, so maybe they should get that chance. Shes obviously unhappy with her job and should try a different field. After seeing several other reviews on Google about the surly attitudes of their waitstaff, well definitely be taking our business elsewhere as there are plenty of great restaurants in the area.

We were seated at the bar where the waitress gave us small water glasses used for shooters. We were not asked for our food orders, so we asked to be seated outside. We received our waters promptly in tall glasses and put in our order of a burger and pulled pork. Since the place was not busy outside we hoped the wait would be short; well it was far from short. We waited for 50 minutes before our food had arrived. We also had to mention to the hostess that the people who had sat down after us had not even been asked for their drinks. Our server didnt ask us how our food was or even ask to refill our waters. The bus boys were the only one who asked us for refills. When we were done though and had our bill, she was prompt on picking it up. Although Im sure the tip was not quite what she hoped. It was a disappointment coming from someone who was in town visiting and had heard the hype about the restaurant, was far from pleased. Server was 10 Michelle

Went to Dunedin Smokehouse yesterday. If you like surly waitresses and waiters I highly recommend it! The server insulted my wife and by the time I went to the bar to find the manager, three of the servers were making a big joke about it. I talked to the manager, and she apologized for the waitress and said she would talk to her and walked away without asking me who the offending waitress was! So either it is so obvious that this waitress is insulting to everyone or the manager couldnt care any less. Judging by the entire experience I believe she couldnt care any less. The manager has no managerial skills and the servers suck. ( Our waiter excluded). The owner of this place needs to implement some type of training program, because the inmates are running the asylum! Will never go back!

Poor excuse for BBQ...after reading the reviews and seeing the menu - at first, we were excited to be there; so I ordered a combo platter with a little of everything and two of their special $$$ sides they offer. The portions were puny (like 2 OZ)...the brisket was DRY and the $$$ sides were not all that and certainly not worth the price. The waitress was very good...but that was the only pleasant experience about this place. I have eaten BBQ all over the country and do my own smoked meats at home as well...so I know what Im talking about if you want to compare Que Joints and food. To be quite honest...I still have not found a decent BBQ joint in Pinellas county that comes close to the places Ive been to in...Memphis, NC, SC, & Kansas City!

First and last time going there, highly disappointed! They upcharge you for everything! Brisket dinner ended up costing $20, definitely not worth even close to that! One a scale of 1-10, brisket was a 2 or 3. Sides were just so so. The smokey joe (sloppy joe) was awful! I thought it was impossible to mess up a sloppy joe, but they managed to, and what kind of sloppy joe doesnt have sauce?!? Also got upcharged on it b/c I got baked beans instead of fries, even though both are considered regular sides, not premium. I didnt even eat half my food, it was that bad! Instead of getting me something else, or comping my meal, the manager took off $5.00...gee thanks! I used that money towards getting some dinner elsewhere.

Perhaps this review is not fair because I didnt even get to eat, but the hostess was absolutely horrible. I went to the hostess with my wife and it appeared like she was bothered by our appearance. She rudely asked if we would like a table, and we replied please. We then went inside to a very loud atmosphere and took our seats. After 20 minutes of waiting for some sort of a waiter to take our order or even say hi, we had enough of the noise and decided to leave. As we were walking out with our menus, I handed them to the hostess and told her we had not had any service and were probably going elsewhere. She relied, "Oh, okay," and walked away. I heard they have bad service, and Im definitely sure of it now.
