Food was okay but the portions are a JOKE!! Ordered a sampler for 2, came to almost $30 got home, 4 meager pieces of brisket, each about 3 inches long, one piece was just FAT. Three baby back rib bones, each also about 3 inches long with a strip of meat on each the size of a pencil, and a pile of pulled pork not even large enough to make a sandwich. the sides did not make up for the portion sizes either.. each container was 2/3 full at best. The containers are themselves pretty small... Actually let the roommate have it all to herself, and had to go back out to get myself lunch! shes a tiny thing (108lbs) and pretty much ate it by herself (i took a rib) Very disappointed!!! Had been waiting for you to open for a while. Based on several other Barbecue places ive been to, for an almost $30 sampler for two, it should feed two and maybe have a few scraps for leftovers.. Instead i paid $30 for a few scraps. What gives KC Que?? Wish i would have taken a picture. Barbecue is decent, but Please fix your prices or portion sizes. Thank You. S Martin

I really really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately I cant. The portion sizes are quite small when compared to ANY other BBQ place. The prices, however, are slightly higher than average for BBQ joint. $8.50 for a brisket sandwich isnt bad if it includes a side and, you know, brisket. Unfortunately the sandwiches are school lunch sized at best and dont include a side. The mac and cheese side posted is a MEDIUM size side and costs $5. This size side is included with a sandwich at literally every other BBQ place I have ever been to, and Ive been to a lot. The waitress also upsold my 6 year old on a dessert without asking me first. I figured it was included in his kids meal due to how she was acting. I was surprised when they charged $2 for a not-good rice krispie treat/brownie concoction. Food was mediocre, a C- at best. Mostly US Foods reconstituted fare. Sonnys or Q Dogs (on Saturdays for brisket) are much MUCH better, unfortunately.

I tried kc que for the first time about two months ago. It was by far the best brisket I have found since I moved to the Tampa Bay area. On Saturday, after working an 11 hour shift, I called in an order for 1lb of this mouth watering brisket. I was almost drooling on my drive to pick it up. I picked up the brisket and drove 20 min home. When I got home, I made a plate and topped it with my favorite sweet bbq sauce. I took a bite and was immediately disappointed. It had way too much seasoning on it. The meat was completely dried out and the portion size did not seem like a pound of meat. I spent 18.00 on a pound of brisket that resembled nothing of the brisket I had about 2 months before. I felt like I was given leftovers. Did they get a new chef?? Not sure what else could cause such a drastic decline in quality. I dont think I will be going back there. My hunt for delicious brisket continues!

Family-owned. These folks are award-winners - literally. Food is excellent and staff is very friendly. Not cheapest, but plenty of food. Hard to find (currently, but moving in August), but well worth effort and odd hours (Fri / Sat only). Understand this family does this primarily for the love of BBQ - not to make a living, so, dont bring your "Disney Land" expectations - no Mickey Mouse here, just excellent ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork served with a smile to thems who can behave like grownups. The greens are fresh - hand-made and well seasoned. Potato salad is unusual and also quite good. Ribs are what ribs should be and so rarely are. I pray the new larger location and wider hours do not tarnish this little gem.

From the second I walked through the doors I felt welcomed as I was met by a smile from the staff. I ordered the brisket sandwich with medium order if steak fries and must say the portion were awesome. Sandwich was overflowing with shredded brisket and steak fries were hot and crispy. Priced Right for the portion served so I dont mind paying a little more for the quality received. I dont get up to Tarpon Springs as I live in Clearwater but was up in the area right next to where I was working and was smelling the hickory smoke all morning and HAD to stop in for lunch. Will definitely stop in again if Im up in this area OR maybe just take a drive up on a Friday or Saturday for lunch or dinner!

The price is insane for the tiny portions you are given. Got the brisket and pulled pork platter; flavor was good, but it came to me as just two small lumps of meat in a basket. Side of fries was a joke and the "premium" side of Mac and cheese was in a tiny cup and honestly wasnt good anyways. My meal overall was around $20 and I was still hungry afterwards. Wont be back unless some big price/portion changes are made.

Fantastic service for a local low-key anniversary dinner. Tender ribs, amazing sides, great pulled pork, and BBQ sauce. Although we only ate about half the food we somehow squeezed in a cherry bomb(moist chocolate surrounding a cherry) each for dessert.

Happy with the flavor of the barbeque and service. The waitress was fun. The prices were high for the size of the portion. Most of our party of six enjoyed the barbeque but the Mac and cheese and the greens need to have more flavor.

Best bbq place Ive been too in years! Brisket was perfect, the ribs were to die for and the greens are a pleasant twist from traditional greens. Will come back over and over again! Too bad its only open on Saturdays.

I call almost every Saturday, they recognize my number. Everything is good, no, everything is great. Burnt ends, brisket, Apple slaw and the sweet tea. Is it Saturday yet?

Chicken was perfectly smoked and fell right off the bone. Sweet sauce was great and side dishes were good and decent size. Prices were OK but a shade high for chicken.
