Food is pretty good, some of it is overpriced. $4 for a cup of oatmeal?!? I purchased a Groupon for two vouchers, thats how I first came upon this place. I had issues when I tried to use the 2nd one, there was no 2nd voucher. I showed the server my phone, she said it was Groupons issue. I contacted both Groupon & the owner about it (Groupon also reached out to her), and the owner never called me back about my problem, so now Im out a 2nd voucher. Wont be going back!

When here on Valentines Day to fill out an application the owner knew I was there with a resume made me fill out an application but then continue to eat her breakfast for 30 minutes while I sat at the counter waiting for the interview that lasted 2 minutes how rude. I have over 10 years experience look professional and did not deserve this beware before you go here for a job she also took a phone call in the middle of the two-minute interview

Home Plate is so much more than meets the eye. Dont let the name and plain facade mislead you. Home Plate has an extensive menu for a restaurant of its size and excellent food. If you order a salad, you get to choose the ingredients. The fish tacos are made his mahi, mahi and are wonderful. The service is great and the owner will personally thank you for coming in. Ill be back!

First of all it was about 110 degrees inside. And then we had to wait OVER AN HOUR for our food. No discount. No apology. No free soda while we waited. And the owner was walking around talking to people so she was aware. the food was overpriced and quite average. The ONLY reason I did not walk out was because I had purchased a groupon. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

This is must visit if going to see the Blue Jays in Dunedin Florida. Great food and an awesome atmosphere. You will really enjoy talking to Cindy the owner, where every customer is made to feel like family. So whether you are here for Spring Training or just passing through stop in and say hey and enjoy the hometown welcome.

Delish! We rode our bikes up there this morning and it was a pleasant suprise. I had Florida eggs benedict and it was excellent. Loved it. Husband ordered the huevos breakfast tacos, never had anything like it. We cant wait to ride down again for Breakfast or........? Clean, cute, nice place, nice people.

Food was good... UNTIL my girlfriend found a cheese wrapper on her omelet, most restaurants would resolve this with a new dish since she no longer wanted to have something cooked in an omelet, but no our waitress said that it happens sometimes, apologized and charged us full price. Will not be returning

Home Plates staff is great, the food is delicious, and the place is clean and tidy. I think Home Plate is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood; I love that I can walk up the Trail or ride my bike. Check out the specials... the french toast is amazing and the berries are always perfect.

I have never been to a restaurant that charged $5.00 for two eggs,and 2 slices of bacon But you get no Toast. I have been to many places in the area and breakfast with toast and bacon is about $3.99 to $4.99 everything else was fine clean ect

Was not impressed. Food was barely warm. Was not correct. Tomatoes were mushy and toast was cold. And ladies... Wearing short shorts when you are packing cellulite legs and ass hanging out is not attractive. Will not make a return visit
