To all of those foodies out there if you have another option - which you do - I suggest you go there instead of this place. My kids love this place. The food is good and the service is fair. However, recently we have had a very pushy and unfavorable experience. The waiter kept insisting certain items on the table. Is ok to make suggestions but dont insist on wine or other items that the patron has not shown interest or requested. On several occasions the waiter asked my son if he wanted something other than water to drink. This comes across as a person that is trying to add something to the bill to increase the gratuity. If his attempt was to make our experience better and engaging he failed miserably. My wife ordered a Moscato. We know it is a sweet wine. If a client orders something chances are they know what they are getting. Immediately he offered a sauvignon blanc, because he felt it would go better with our meal. Mind you we had not ordered yet. Thus, there is no way he would have known that the wine would go better with our meal. He came across as a salesperson instead of a waiter. My wife sent the wine back and ordered the Moscato. He came back to the table to inform us that they had run out of Moscato if she cared for something else. When he realized that she wasnt budging and did not care to have anything else a bottle of Moscato miraculously became available. This came across as if I cant sell you what I want to sell you, then Ill cave and give you what you want; in the least Im making a sale. You are not there to sell the restaurants products. You are there to assist the patron. As we were ordering the meal the waiter kept on hinting and insisting on adding other items to the dishes. On one occasion someone ordered a Lobster Ravioli and he suggested adding shrimp. The person that this was suggested to agreed to it to avoid an argument with the waiter. He was really pushy. The final insult had to do with a cake. We had brought in a cake to celebrate my sons birthday. The cake had been unwrapped and placed on the table, since we were seated. My son picked this restaurant, because it WAS his favorite. He loves the creme brulee at this place. The cake was in front of us throughout the meal. At the time to cut the cake the waiter informed us that there was a $20.00 charge for the cake service. How ridiculous?!!!!! After complaining the waiter said that they would waive the fee, but by then along with all of the other concerns the damage was done. Too late. There was no turning back. We ordered a creme brulee for my son and sang him happy birthday. The experience was so unfavorable that even the creme brulee did not taste the same to my son and he sent it back. The waiter did try to correct the situation by giving us another desert free of charge, but again you cant come back from such an unfavorable experience. According to my ticket the server was 117 ronald a. However, I dont think this was necessarily his fault. This type of behavior appears to be directed by management. Really disappointed. In summation if you wish to have a better experience where the patron is not just a dollar sign, go somewhere else.

I normally dont take the time outta my busy schedule to write a review for anything but I felt the need to say something about my short visit to Miami, Florida. This was a while back, almost three months ago. I traveled to Miami on a business trip and I was staying in the Doral area. My hotel recommended me to an Italian restaurant in the area called Divieto. At first I was skeptical because of the American fusion combination. But I have to say those two short hours I was there I have never been treated with such care. I had a young man serve me. Sadly I can not remember his name. (He had a ponytail if that helps) but he really made me feel like I was at home. The quality of his work you can see that he was a detailist. From the moment I got there, when he greeted me and opened the door for me to the moment when I left as he held the door for me and gave me a napkin with places I should visit in my short stay in Miami. Which were amazing recommendations I must say. He not once made me bring anything to his attention. Because he was there every moment with such a passion. He was so happy. smiling all the time. In my whole lifetime (59 years) never has a waiter left such an impression on me. Where I am from (Canada, Quebec) we have great service, but that didnt compare to what this young man did for me. He came up to the table and I was unsure of what to even order. He looked at me and said "I am here to take care of you." and that he did. He recommended me a great Cabernet. The appetizer which he also recommended was beyond my expectations. The appetizer was this elegant plate of tortilla wrapped krab meat which was delicious. He then recommended me to try the burger with this pizza bread (I highly recommend you to try if your ever in the area). Its been two months and I cant stop thinking about it. He then insisted on making me a cappuccino. He said he was the best at making them... might I say he wasnt joking. Even the cappuccino had a little design on the top like he really went out of his way to do all these little things like keep my table spotless. There was literally never a moment where I was left unattended. He did all this and managed to keep me company while controlling all his other tables. I came back twice after that. The next day for lunch and dinner. If your ever in the area and you decide to eat at this restaurant look for the server with the ponytail he will definitely take care of you. -Martha

Me dijo no, sigan Uds.
