Went there today. The wait staff was peppier and respond to the needs of the table. Unfortunately thats the where it ends. First we got the bread . It was full of garlic trying to mask the uncooked dow center. What they should cut in half put in the oven and put on the bread the 5 mins or so . The salads were of good portion. I had the gero they put tiny strips of lamb I guess. They tried to hide the poor meat by putting a lot of lettus and other fixing. Finally it was topped with yogert sauce to hid it all. My son got the same and he said his giro tasted like crap but I had to agree with him. I am a person who does not have a stomach. So if I get a lot of oil then I visited the bathroom. So it was on the oily side. Everybody at the table didnt like there dinner as well. Its a shame I like going to a mom and pop plases. The people who served was great I hope that there food improves . There is a hidden gem here if they can polish it and keep it up.

Ill admit that the pizza here is great; its hard to find genuinely good pizza if youre used to eating it in the Northeast. However, you have to endure the workers of Sorrentos which are, at best, indifferent and at worst, caustic. The entire place is filled to the brim (from my experiences) with people that dont seem interested in keeping peoples business - they simply seem to assume that, if you want pizza, theyre the place to come for it, so, whatre you gunna do? Again - the food is good, but, the staff themselves are rude. Not rude in a charming, South Boston, this-is-a-part-of-the-atmosphere kind of way, mind you - just, well, the sort of people youre not inclined to associate with in any way unless you need something from them. So, if youre into pizza with a side of abuse or dismissal, this place is for you. But, dont expect them to appreciate your business.

Hands down the best pizza around, especially if youre from NY. Even if youre not, everybody Ive introduced to Sorrentos raves. Been ordering take-out/delivery since moving here in the late 80s. Theyre NOT rude or insulting. Theyre moving fast and get down to business. I appreciate that! I dont go to a restaurant to make friends, I go WITH friends for good food! But they do get a little friendlier with the regulars whove been going for years, and they DO appreciate your business. The portions are very generous, theyve never messed up an order, and my garlic bread always has fresh garlic on it. Always need to toast longer if you like it crunchy. Order is always ready or delivered on time, and drivers always thank you graciously for decent tip, and deliver hot food.

Somewhere between three and four stars. We love their hoagies/subs/grinders. The Hot Sicilian made with peperoni, bacon, lettuce, tomato and dressed with oil and vinegar is an outstanding feast. Dont ask about calories or cholesterol its an indulgence. Its been a while since I had their pizza but it was good back in the day. Not the best but still a good pie. Just ordered some zeppole tonight and at 4:00pm theyd run out of dough for the zeppole. First time in ages we order from Sorrento and theyre out of what we ordered, didnt even find out until we drove all the way over to pick our order up (we live outside their delivery area) no compensation was offered. Worth a visit to draw your conclusion.

Great pizza and phenomenal strombolis at an amazing price. Its a mom and pop place, and the owners are friendly but a little reserved. Dont let the negative reviews worry you. If you want happy-happy and average food, go to a chain. If you want some of the best food in town at terrific prices, go to Sorento Itallian Restaurant! My wife and I have been eating here for years, and I recommend it to everyone I know - nobody has been disappointed once they visited.

Good food, but their attitude could use some work. I came to pick up my food, and had a large box and two bags, went to leave and most of the staff was watching me as I attempted to leave. I nearly spilled all of my order and not one of them came and asked If I needed help. But I keep coming back because their food is awesome.

THEE WORST ITALIAN IV EVER HAD. I wouldnt go back here to get a glass of water if I was dying of thirst. Sauce is canned bread is dry and only has garlic powder and butter. The one meatball is boiled and has no seasoning. And the lettus was accompanied with only a single sliver of tomato. Puke tasted better...thumbs down

Been a customer for over 20 years, This is by far one of the BEST little Italian pizza joints in the area, always clean, consistent quality, and great portions. Stromboli always baked to perfection. Highly recommend without hesitation.

I have been to this place for over 20 years. It has great food. I have never been disappointed. The first time my wife and I went we had lunch. We enjoyed it so much we took the entire family back for supper.

Had shrimp scampi, delivery. .. no one ate it. We threw all of it out.. the chicken parm was good if you took it off the bread which again was terrible..overall I will not waste my money there again..

Outstanding pizza...best in the area in my opinion. But they are extremely rude on the phone. I have ordered from them 3 times but the attitude i got outweighs my need for Sorrentos pizza.

My dad use to order pizza from here all the time. When I moved back to palm bay I ordered them for dinner right away. This is by far my favorite pizza restaurant, no where else compares.

Excellent. Sorrentos catered birthday party for my wife July 1, baked ziti, lasagna, salad, garlic knots was perfect. Jason added extra gluten free pasta dish for me. Highly recommend.
