warning TLDR descriptions, hope this saves someones from the same experience... wish i can rate less than 1.. left so fast and threw the receipt away, wish i keept it for this.. for the past few visits (being a regular customer for a few years) the past 6 months i see the quality of people and service fall fast . going from a 4.8 to now a 2.5 rating.. with no rush or non busy times, the staff can be see playing, with no drive threw you can wait up to 20minits before they start on your meal. and if they feel like giving you 1 refill (company policy to do to checkers customer serves) you will have to wait any were form 15-40minits for it, ive timed it its faster to dive to Sanford checkers and ask for a drink thin what they than the time it take them.. and when they give you your food late the nice lady behind the window will look at you like your a stupid $%^& and free fall drop it on the window counter even if you havent said anything to them and waited patently and kindly. food is.. moderate ok, dry and cold 1/2 time "ok" the rest.. and if you go their i recommend going before its dark or close to sunset, the after noon shift seams to be more on it and are more polite, but later shift attitudes and how its ran is utterly pitiful.. among health codes such as wearing gloves to mop, take out trash, touching outside doors and trashcans and not changing before going back to make food, main part that upsets me is the laziness and impatience of things like that. im not upset, but after it happening over and over, this is the first review out of them all.. i will try my damnedest never to go back their again~ other checkers store in that location isnt much better, rather take twice the time to drive to Sanford to eat at that one thin here (and i have.. and i get home sooner because of their 5* service)

If there was a negative 1 star I would have used that. Visited today at about 5 PM or so. Manager was outside in the parking area taking a smoke break talking to someone in a car - yuuuck. Please take that nasty habit away from the customers.. I went up to the order window. Young lady looks at me and keeps going on her way, no recognition. Comes back a couple of minutes later. Opens the window, looks at me but says nothing. Zero. I ordered my sandwich. The order was for $1.99 plus tax. She takes my $5.00 bill, hands me some change along with 2 singles. Mumbles something that was unintelligible, then hands me more change after a minute. Handed me about $3.75 in change. Did not say thank you. Did not say anything after that. Hands me the burger and walks away. The burger itself was ok except for the tomatoes that were not anywhere near ripe. I wont be coming back here anytime soon. Manager smoking in the customer dining and parking area. Very poor service, mediocre food and a cashier who cant count. Bad bad bad. I have come here several times in the past and it was ok. This time it was nasty all the way around. They should hire better help or use robots, at least they could be programmed to say May I help you and thank you.

I ordered 10 piece chicken wings they were so greasy on the FIVE minute drive home they made an oil stain on my pants the size of a soft ball. I called them saying they need to pay for my pants. The assistant manager played dumb as if she couldnt understand why they would pay for pants. I took a lot of pictures. While this was happenig another FIVE minutes went by I had the greasy wings sitting on the counter, I was going to try and eat them. The bottom half of the bag was soaked in oil. The carton holding the wings was soaked in oil. There was even garlic parmasean flavoring slathered all through the inside of the bag. During the FIVE minutes the carton of wings sat on the counter, the carton had leaked an additional tablespoon of oil all over the counter. It was absolutely disgusting. I cant believe a trip to checkers could turn into this BS im pissed! Those were my favorite pants! Jerks! Nasty place. I went back to get my money back and show them what they did. Nothing but fat people wandering around working there. Gross... I am going to call the health department on this trash hole!

If i could give a zero star rating i would. I rarely get fast food & have gone to this location probably 3 times in the last 2 yrs simply because they are open late & close to home at the end of a long drive. Every time Ive gone to this location service is slow, the person taking the order is rude and at least part of the order is inaccurate. Last night my boyfriend & I went through the drive thru with our 6 year old daughter and within 2 hours of eating the food we were all sick. Not to mention the fact that part of our order was incorrect ( no major surprise there) and Im pretty sure i was over charged, but i cant verify that because i wasnt given a receipt. Terrible experience all around, stay away if you dont want food poisoning.

Me and my family went here for lunch and we ended up having to pay for each of our three meals seprately even though we were paying with the same card! The lady even said she couldnt put it as the same order and then we were later told that she could! Also, the lady that took our order was very rude and got our order wrong as well. All in all, it was a very unenjoyable experience and my family will not be returning. The only reason they are getting a star is because I cannot give them 0 stars.

Absolutely terrible service. I walked up to order and it took several minutes for someone to come to the window. The Manager who took my order walked away without giving me a receipt and was texting on his phone visible from the pick-up window, while I wait several minutes for my milkshake- not food, just the milkshake. It was $3.56 for a small banana milkshake. The people waiting in drive thru had been there from before I parked my car and where still there once I had left.

This place is okay for a quick bite. Would I eat there if I had the choice to go somewhere better , probably not. The people were nice, but the surrounding area like the benches isnt the best looking by any means. There are some interesting people that come a lot to this checkers also. So its kind of ,off putting. You could probably find somewhere better to eat.

I wouldnt buy starving person from a third world country anything from there. The employees were rude the wait was ridiculous. Im diabetic live in Florida waited 30 minutes outside had my son ask for a cup of ice water he was ignored for 10 minutes then gave him our food had to wait another 5 minutes for our drinks still no ice water.
