As a fan of Popeyes I was very excited to see a new one coming up in Casselberry. The first couple of weeks it was ridiculous to try to get in there to order food as it was too packed. Today I finally was able to go to the new restaurant and get the meal that Ive been wanting for a long time. What a disappointment! The first issue was that the drive-thru seemed to be held back by their own employees. They sounded confused and took forever to place the order. I found that the prices were a little bit higher than I remembered. For three meals we paid $30. Needless to say, my husband and my son got the new waffle chicken strips with mashed potatoes and gravy. I got my two piece crispy not spicy white meat with french fries. We live only minutes away and by the time we got home the food was so very very cold. That means that when we picked it up it was already cold. The waffle chicken strips were disgusting, tasted like it was fried in very old oil. The potatoes have a new gravy that tastes like gumbo. It does not taste like regular brown gravy for your mashed potatoes. My meal was also fairly cold and the chicken portions were very small. This is compared to KFC and other Fried Chicken that Ive had. The french fries were cold, soggy and also tasted like they were fried in very old oil. Needless to say, $30 was thrown in the trash because we could not eat our meal and we will not be coming back to this Popeyes ever again. Bad food, bad service and very bad prices.

Let me start out by saying I will never come to the Casselberry Popeyes ever again. Waits happen, this I know, but waits that could have easily been avoided, is another thing and shows complete and utter incompetence. Let me make this extremely simple. I had to wait almost 20 minutes stuck in a drive-thru with no where to go because someone ordered chicken that was not available, chicken needs time to cook I get that, but why did I have to wait and be stuck in a line just BECAUSE THE PERSON TAKING AND DEALING THE ORDERS COULD HAVE JUST TOLD A PERSON TO PULL UP AND PARK... simple as that... but no instead make 6 to 8 more customers wait stuck in a drive thru that they couldnt leave, INSANE... I called management straight after and by the time I was done explaining everything she asked "Is that all?" With co workers scoffing in the background. I hate that I have to sit here and write this review and harp on some petty BS but something needs to be done. I run my own business, Ive worked fast food, and I work part time in the restaurant business, and I have never treated or spoke to anybody with such little care and disregard for the money and time they are spending. Oh and I was given no spoke to eat my sides, and no napkins to clean myself... -_-

Recently went to Popeye’s in Casselberry and the customer service and slowness will both upset you and make you laugh. The service is so horrible you ask yourself if this can be real. Never have I see an organization so dysfunctional. The employees walk around like zombies and seemed confused at what to do. I can tell you… they do nothing. One customer asked why her iced tea was so light in color….an employee came from around the counter and opened the lid to the tea dispensing system and said “it is darker in here”. None of the employees care about what they are doing or how many are in line they move at the same slow pace. I mentioned to the manager on duty this was the worse run restaurant I had ever seen and her response was “really”. The chicken was dry and the container of mash potatoes spilled open in the carry out bag. Needless to say I will not be back.

The only reason they are busy right now is because they have great chicken. I tried to dine there about six times and I couldnt get served in a reasonable amount of time and left. I finally had about 30 minutes to wait it out and realized what the problem was. Horrible management and lousy customer service was in view throughout my order. Both the drive- thru and inside counter order service is so slow its laughable. If there is a line reaching the door you need to open a second register. Its not that difficult to plan out your busy part of the day and drop enough chicken into the fryer to keep ahead of the orders. If Popeyes corporate management doesnt correct this soon (no matter how good there product is) people will stop putting up with the lousy service and go somewhere else. And thats a shame.

This location is terrible. I stop by at an off time not during the rush hours and waited 12 mins in line before walking out. There was only 4 people in line and they could not get it together. The staff there do not aim to please nor do they even care. I love popeys and was very excited when I found out they were opening this location which is much closer to my house. Its a shame you cant hire people who care....I was not the only one who walked out! These people are losing money from hiring worthless staff. Also the manager was right there and at no time did she step in to make the situation better. There is another location two miles west do your self the favor and go to that one.

Very poor management, its unfortunately laughably horrendous. The food sometimes is okay, with a guaranteed chance to have something messed up on your order. First visit to the Popeyes, line was so long that it took my an hour and a half to get my chicken. They held on original chicken, but had plenty of spicy chicken, so I got fresh original, but cold spicy chicken. Other than that, is their chicken good? Of course, its Popeyes, but it will be a hassle and if you dont have enough time to wait at least half an hour for food during rush hour, I suggest going elsewhere.

WORST POPEYES EVER!!!! HAVE BEEN THERE ON 4 OCCASIONS ONLY BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD GET BETTER. NEW STORE AND ALL. AND THIS WAS THE LAST FOR ME, MY FAMILY AND ANY PERSON I TALK TO! EVERY TIME THEY SCREW UP THE ORDER, TAKE FOREVER TO GET THE ORDER. FOOD NOT FRESH OR HOT AND THIS LAST TIME ORDER WAS A TEN PIECE MEAL AND 6 OF THOSE PIECES WERE JUST LEGS AND THE RED BEANS AND RICE SIDE TASTED LIKE GARBAGE!!! YOU SUCK AND GET BETTER MANAGEMENT OR CLOSE!!! OH AND BY THE WAY TRY CALLING THEM AND ALL YOU GET IS WERE SORRY AND THAT IS WAY TO EASY!!!! TO SAY

I truly believe if i post my review that maybe management will take customers opinions and make a difference in this location. So far everytime i go i always ask for honey and hot sauce and a special request to have the gravy in its own seperate container from the mashed potatoes. But each and everytime i never get my request or my sauces. My last comment would be towards the buscuits... They are always doughy, like they havent been cooked long enough. Hopefully these changes are made soon, i really enjoy the chicken...best chicken ive had.
