Im guessing service is hit or miss here because based on the past Yelp reviews, I was expecting some greasy soft fried chicken and was surprised with hot crispy perfectly seasoned juicy fried chicken. I ordered 9 pieces of mixed and passed on the sides because honestly, they didnt look that appetizing from what I saw on the tables. They pressure cook their chicken to order so it takes some time and had I known that, I wouldnt have shown up 10 minutes to close. They were so cordial and patient with answering my questions as well. I guess theyve turned a new leaf and made service a priority now because the chicken was fresh and hot and under 15 minutes.

I have eaten here a lot over the years. Chicken is almost always good but the sides are hit or miss quite often. Its also gotten very pricey over the years. The amount out get has also shrunk while quite a bit while those prices were increasing as well. If all your wanting is chicken and/or wings go to the grocery store just down the street instead. Just as good and a LOT cheaper. Seems to also be more consistent.

I can say Ive eaten Maryland fried chicken for as long as theyve been opened. They have the BEST fried chicken, Cole slaw and corn fritters. Even their fries are good. I introduced my daughter in law to their chicken. She was hooked. A drive thru would be the best addition to their restaurant.

The servers and cashiers look tired. The service was not that great. Cleaning and sweeping was happening while we ate. The towel used to clean the tables made it to the bathroom! It was quitting time then- had to go!

we had a Maryland fried chicken back in Michigan in the 1970s found veros shop several visits ago this is the best fried chicken recipe ever. beats any of the other fried chicken chains by far dont miss it
