You could be forgiven if you have not seen this gem of a restaurant snuggled between Publix and the Fitness place in the shops at Beville rd. The food is fantastic - we had the special Nachos which were covered up with chunks of tasty beef, vegetables, tastiest tomatoes I have had in an age and spicy hot jalapenos - they didnt stint on the guacomole or sour cream either! More than enough for two and we wondered if we would be able to eat our dinner - we couldnt! I had the Choripollo which was just about the tastiest I had ever had, served on a plate almost as big as the table - my husband had the fajitas combo which came sizzling hot to the table with another plate of rice, beans and something else that I dont remember because I was too busy tucking in to mine. We brought at least half of it home and I am soooo looking forward to lunch tomorrow - forget the fast food places or the so expensive you have to save for a month to go there places - give Brisas del Mar a whirl - you wont be disappointed!!

The only thing that is noteworthy in this restaurant is the corn tortillas, everything else is your typical run of the mill tex mex slob, tasteless and bland. Their chicken pizza is literally a corn chip with shredded cheese on top and their chicken taste like paint. Their Jarritos are warm and their red salsa is watery and the green one taste like grass mulch. The manager was cooking, waiting, washing dishes and on the register all at the same time. When asked about the availability of items on the menu his reply was a cold, dry Nope. Dont waste you money here please.

Ever since moving to this area my wife and I have lamented the lack of truly good Mexican food in the area. We are so glad we found this place. The staff is attentive and friendly, the food is just amazing. Real authentic Mexican food. If you come here do yourself a favor and actually dive into the menu; dont get just a taco salad or a burrito(not that they arent great mind you). Weve tried their shrimp al diabla, machaca/chorizo with eggs, all just fantastic. My wife even ordered off the menu and they made her Chilaquiles!

I just moved to this area and Ive been looking for a good Mexican restaurant that I can go to regularly but a lot tend to be the same. Brisas Del Mar is above the bar and by far the best Mexican restaurant in the Daytona area. The food and the service was amazing. The owner personally made sure we were happy and that shows he really cares about his customers. I will definitely be returning and recommend to anyone looking for some really good Mexican food :)

Hands down, the BEST Mexican food I have ever had! My husband and I are HUGE fans of Mexican food. We were on vacation and wanting to eat at places that we couldnt eat at home. I wish I could have brought those cooks home with me! Delicious!! And the prices were awesome too, I fed my family of 5 for $35! If we go back to Daytona, this place will be at the top of our list of places to visit.

Excellent service great food...our gps kept taking us all around the building..lol but finally found it . tucked between chi fitness and the v nail spa.. Our server was friendly and attentive..the only thing i can say as a critique is they didnt have the queso cheese topping the chimichanga.. But it was good

You feel welcomed from the moment you come in. Chips and water come immediately and the service is great. We had the entre dos mares and the steak and poblano plates and both were superb in taste and quality. We will return to this new Mexican Restaurant

The food is amazing! We came from Texas, and wanted to eat mexican food. We chose the right restaurant. The choriqueso is delicious! We stayed by the beach and only drove 14 minutes. The Aguas frescas are really fresh! The service was perfect! Really quick!
