Things I love about this place: 1. They serve Coke products. 2. They are generous with their chips and salsa. Lots of other Mexican food establishments give you a tiny bowl of salsa and grudgingly refill it upon your request. Not so here. They use the small flasks of salsa and Ive never had to request any more. They give you both a traditional tomato based as well as a guacamole based salsa. 3. The food is very good. I tried a Torta and could not finish it. 4. Service is fast & friendly. 5. I felt I got a good value for my money. In my opinion, this is the best experience Ive had at a Mexican Restaurant in Rock Hill.

If you want authentic Mexican food, well this is the place!!! I dont mean to discredit the other Mexican restaurants in town, but their food reminds me of my grandma. Its my most honest comparison. The food was great! As well as the service. One of fhe employees walks around to make sure all tables have enough chips and sause (which by the way are so spicy and awesome) before you get your food. I.highly recommend Taqueria El Manhattan.

I came tot his place for take out, based on the Google reviews - but I was unimpressed. I paid $4.99 for guacamole that wound up being a tablespoon size portion. The shrimp tacos were okay - but very basic. Service was adequate, but not overly friendly. I might try again, this time staying in (rather than take out). At least that way I could complain directly about $5 for a spoon of guacamole, if needed.

When it comes to Mexican food, Im about as picky, as one can get. I passed this place about 4 times, before I decided to try it, and Im glad I did. El Manhattan is one of the best Mexican food Ive had. The staff is friendly and they seem to put every bit of pride into their job, from the servers to the cooks. If you see it go in, dont think twice. I recommend the Torta a la Diabla!

Absolutely fantastic Mexican food! Hands down the best tacos and Tortas Ive had in the states. Reminds me of being back in Mexico. And the Service and staff are the best! Great attention to detail and warm happy personalities from everyone. I highly recommend this place to everyone looking for great food!

Lots of choices for food, their mole is very good. Professional, pleasant and attentive staff. We went for Cinco de Mayo and they were extremely fast and even dealt with crazy people and kept the restaurant going. I have been before and can say that it is consistently great food.

I give them a lot of credit. The new staff is working out the kinks but the food was really good especially for the price. There are many Mexican options in Rock Hill, but please give this place a shot! I will definitely go back for the shrimp nachos!

So far this is the best Mexican restaurant that I have eaten at since I moved to Rock Hill. I am from California and the flavors are really close to what real Mexican food should taste like. I would recommend that you try this place.

Great staff. Great food. Chicken nacho supreme has actual fresh Mexican cheese and sour creme. Such a rich yummy treat. The staff is excellent, fast, nice, and your food is literally from the kitchen bubbling when served!

Excellent fajitas and a great price for the lunch special (menu says Mon-Fri, but they have it on Sat also). Fresh homemade chips and two types of salsa for the table. This is our go to Mexican place from now on.

Nothing is more unwelcoming than being greeted with, "Were closed." The parking lot was pretty full and according to Google they close at 10:00PM. What is it with poor service in Rock Hill?
