In the past this had been my favorite GC in the area. However, after not having been to this location in a few months, something has definitely changed! The food was awful! Fried chicken was extremely dry, almost seemed refried. Too many potato items: fries, tater tots, hash browns, fries with onions, to name a few. Bacon was way too greasy, sliced ham had an overcooked look and was dry. No cooked vegetable items (unless you count sautéed mushrooms). We didnt expect too many vegetable choices, since we were there for breakfast, but in the past i think they used to have broccoli or something similar. Something has definitely changed...the cook or management! My daughter also found a hair in the mac & cheese! I gave one star since the facility was clean and the server was diligent and courteous.

We originally had another place planned out for Fathers Day but that ended up being a bad experience, had to change plans. We headed back to Clermont and decided to eat at Golden Corral. All the other restaurants had a very very long wait due to Fathers Day. We waited long enough, could not start over, so off to Golden Corral we went. We all were pleased with the food and service! Everything was fresh. The steak and ribs were good. Kenny was our server, he was awesome! He found us a spot to eat for 7 people. He cleaned 2 tables real quick and made it possible for us all to eat together. He constantly stopped by to see if we needed anything, soda, coffee, water etc.. cleared our plates immediately, made room for us to get more food. He was so nice, on top of everything! Will be back!

I went here two months ago for breakfast and was very disappointed. We went for breakfast and the waitress in our area complete ignored us... She never greeted us, said hello, and sped up when she walked past us. She did greet all the other customers in the area. The carpet in our area also smelled. The food was average but what I come to expect from Golden Corral. Really disappointed by the location since I like going to buffets. We left a survey to the Golden Corral receipt thinking that we would receive sympathy but were blown off by the manager who contacted us. He ignored us when he found out that we didnt reach out to the onsite manager. I wish that we had gotten Breakfast sandwiches from Donut King as we were originally planning on doing.

Never go to the Clermont location after 5:30 pm. Food is always cold, rolls are hard like toast, can never get a well done steak, and very very slow to replenish the food. Has happened on multiple occasions. I only go here if I really dont feel like cooking and the McDonalds line is wrapped around tbe building. Complained to the manager and she was able to get me a well done steak after being served a live cow 3 separate times in a row. So called grill master says he cant hear you, but even if he does hear you he still cant make a well done steak...or just he doesnt understand well done means no pink.

Today, Fathers Day, was a very disappointing experience. First, you take advantage of the holiday and inflate the price. That could be Acceptable, if something SPECIAL accompanied the Special Price. However, the quality of the food reached an all-time low today. This has been a consistent restaurant for a few years. Now, unfortunately, it appears to have gone the way of the Golden Corral in The Villages. Just Sad.

Great selection for a buffet. We came in a bit late and were afraid there would only be old food, but we saw fresh food coming out to the very end. Everything looked good except the extremely dried out ham which was the only thing that looked like it had been sitting out all day. I havent been to a Golden Corral in nearly a decade and Im glad I got to have a good experience again.

First off, their food is horrible. Their food sits out on burners and rots. A saw is required to cut their meat. Their fresh produce was obviously not fresh. The only reason I gave them a star was because they had an awesome chocolate fountain. Dont go here unless you want to feel terrible after eating because the food is so bad.

It was ok not much to write home about food was kinda old but that was switch over from breakfast to lunch . over all it was ok was not packed so that was a plus cause no one in my way but sure it did effect food being refresh do to lack of customers. Waitress was nice and did her job well place was clean and ac nice and cold .

The food here was absolutely horrible!!! The food was old and I found a hair in the fried chicken on the buffet line All the cooks were visibly dirty,lk w p sweaty and greasy looking. Not only do I recommend that no one go here, I may even call the Health Department and file a complaint.

Three days of food poisoning. Diarrhea and vomiting from their food. Called to let them know and the best compensation they offered was one free meal on them. No thank you I dont want to get sick again. Eat here at your own risk. Food looks great but you may pay for it later!

Nice place to eat once in a while, selection is usually good. Steak is also good. Could use more Vegan options, mostly simply by not using real butter on some of the veggies. I also recommend avoiding Mondays since they seem to be out of a lot of things from busy weekend.

Went Sunday evening not knowing Prime Rib was on the menu. Prime Rib was very good cooked perfectly. Prime Rib, Butterfly Shrimp, and large shrimp was as good as a five star restaurant would serve. Will definitely go again on Prime Rib Night.

Prime Rib nite, was totally over cooked Tried 4 times. We actually stopped eating there because of the price increases and no drink included for seniors. Thought we would try one time.

Dont believe I have ever seen so many fat people in one restaurant. The entire Golden Corral experience is pathetic: all you can eat, tough meat, stuff yourself till you explode! Boom!

Some of the best steaks, pot roast, fried okra and squash. Ive ever had in this chain. The plain chicken and blackened chicken was way too dry to enjoy on two different visits though.

Must have been a bad night for the food. My wife and I both got sick after eating here. We have had positive visits to this restaurant before however this night was absolutely awful.
