Omg, thats all I can say. Service sucked, waited 2 hours with children. Half the table was served their food and the rest came cold. Didnt have a table big enough for our party of 9 so I was asked us to sit on the patio and even though I was reluctant because of the warm weather, I was told there were fans ouside so we sat with tables of people blowing smoke in our face. Checks came wrong.Complained to management and was basically told oh well. Now let me explain. I am not the type of person that complaints about my food, I know there are sometimes bad days that are uncontrollable but when you sit for hours waiting for your meal you would expect someone to come to your table and explain that they are short staffed or the they are sorry it is taking so long but when I finally went to management to complain the entire staff was gossiping about us like we had some nerve to complain and all of them had an attitude. I have been to this restaurant many times and have recommended them to others. After this experience, I will not be back.

Recently moved to Clermont and looking for an authentic mexican restaurant. Ay Jalisco was very dissapointed. I ordered steak and shrimp and their portions are really small for the prices. My friend ordered steak ranchero and everything was tasteless...No sazon at all. We ended up paying $55 dollars for our dinner frustration. I have visited other mex restaurant where the steak portions and shrimps are very reasonable for the price I have paid. It is obvious that the owners just want your money. I would say, Ay no vuelvo a Ay Jalisco...me voy a San Jose! I do not reccommend this place. Para los latinos: te van a sacar un ojo de la cara y te vas a quedar con hambre...busca otro sitio para cenar.

Ay Caramba!!...the guacamole comes from a pre-packaged container, the chips come from a box (tasted the cardboard residue) and the service was rigid and completely inflexible. Hardly the characteristics of a real family-owned restaurant. My burrito was hardly a burrito but fajita meat wrapped in a tortilla and showered with cheese...more like an over-sized wannabe enchilada?...truly nothing authentic here but maybe the tequila...but i refused to find out because it was over priced. To the good people of Clermont, why do you punish yourselves?

First time here. We drove by around lunch, it was busy so we decided to go back for dinner, it was still busy but we didnt have to wait. They have a large menu selection, chicken, seafood, pork and vegetarian options. The Margaritas are good, not to strong. We ordered the paoblano pepper stuffed w/veggies, spinach & mushroom enchiladas and a chicken chimichanga, everything tasted great. They did send out a seafood chimichanga instead of chicken but they quickly exchanged it out for the correct item. Id recommend it to friends and family.

Horrible horrible manager... I am a diabetic and I take 4 shots 0f insulin a day. Had a bad experience at one restaurant where they gave me a sugar filled Coke. I wound up in the hospital. Ever since then I take my own beverage to be sure I dont get a sugar filled drink again. Any decent manager would understand. The manager told me to never come back again. I have been going to this restaurant for years , but NEVER AGAIN. They lost a good customer over a 2 dollar Coke. January 6,2016

The portions and food is very good. However, a little over priced for Mexican cuisine. They make a nice Margarita. A couple years ago they built on a comfortable outside bar. We were a bit disappointed last visit, as they allowed a drifter into the restaurant panhandle at the tables, while we ate. I had to get firm with the homeless individual, and got a bit uncomfortable. Unusual as well, because we do not have a noticeable homeless population in Clermont.

Food and service was great. Margaritas mixed well and the alcohol complimented the mixes. My only issue is price. It seems a little steep on some dishes where I dont see the extra value. Refried beans, rice, lettuce, and certain cuts of meat are very cheap commodities, and the sliver of guacamole they give is unfair. No where do I see the added value on the dishes to accommodate the price.

If you want a festive atmosphere and real Mexican food, this restaurant is wonderful. I live almost 2 hours away from this restaurant, but insist on visiting here if visiting a friend who lives nearby Ay Jalisco. The only problem is they arent where I live and theres nothing comparable. The food is simply fantastic and the staff does everything to ensure you leave happy.

If you are a mexican food lover, you need to eat here. The chimichanga was the best I have ever ad anywhere! the guacamole and salsa were out of this world. The margarita was a little on the sweet side but when I told the server she fixed it no questions asked. I am a mexican food NUT! I loved this place and have reccomended it to at least a dozen others.

I have dined @ this restaurant many times & not once have I had a complaint. Whether slow or busy, the service has always been exceptional. The food has always been delivered in a timely manner & tasted delicious. The last time I was there, a lady was saying that she drove all the way from Lakaland to eat there. You must try it!!

As a first generation Mexican the food in this restaurant is the most authentic Mexican food that I have found in central Florida. The food is great with a healthy portion served and the service and atmosphere are outstanding. My wife and I eat there often and we recommend this location to anyone who likes good Mexican food.

Good prices. Nachos are cheap and yummy. I love the mussels diabla. Its not on most of the menus but theyll make it. The sauce with some squeezed lime juice on it is soo tasty. Its one of my favorites to order and the average customer doesnt even know it exists. This is one of my most favorite restaurants to go to.

Only margarita was either 2 for 1 crap for $6.00 or $12.00+ margaritas. Server did not care and food was mediocre at best. The server acted as though I knew nothing about tequila or Mexican food ....,thats fine by me as Ill drive to Tijuana flats and Moes is opening soon bye bye !ay caramba!!! Never again

It is a good place. but not a big deal. What I did notice is that from other restaurants I have eaten, this one has a lot of cheese on the food. The staff was very nice. The server was really good and he recommend us too which was something nice of him. I might come back in the future

We are never disappointed when we come here. Awesome Mexican food! The servings are well portioned and the service is fast, with very friendly staff. Today on Mothers Day, they gave my wife a flower and a free desert. We will always come back.

We absolutely love this Mexican restaurant! The mango fajitas are so good and I can not find them any where else. The service is good for the most part but the managers are very friendly and always open to suggestions and fixing problems.

I have never had a bad experience here. Great food, great drinks, and great staff. Large portions and the food comes out really quick. The addition of the outside bar and dining has been a bonus. We probably eat here 2-3 times a month.
