I ordered chicken and vegetable chow mien with egg fried rice instead of white, vegetable soup, and crab rangoon, this was $15. When i picked it up, the "chow mien" was nothing like i expected! It was a bowl of white, clear, gooey chicken with cabbage mixed in.. Looked gross and slimy. I thought chow mien was stir fried noodles (i googled it before i went in there).. She explained to me that it was lo mein that i wanted, but she wouldnt give me my money back because there was a difference in price and i had to pay for an entire order of fried rice now. A HUGE togo box full of friend rice.. What? So then, I didnt want the vegetable soup, it was bland, the vegetables werent cooked, just placed in broth, didnt look good so i told her that i changed my mind about the soup and would like my money back for that since i am having to pay more than i expected.. she refused! Then, i told her i didnt want any of it so I just wanted ALL of my money back, i couldnt believe she was refusing to give me my money back! She said "you got what you ordered, just because it wasnt what you expected, im not going to give refund because that is your mistake not mine" She said she would have to throw it away. I asked her if there was a sign that said NO REFUNDS anywhere in the store and she said "I have been here for ten years, and most people know that we dont give refunds." What?? So i ended up paying $20 for lunch for MYSELF, the soup was bland, the rangoon was too hard and the inside wasnt very cheesey, i gave them to my dogs. i have a huge box of fried rice, that i only wanted a small pint of, the lo mein noodles DISSOLVE in my mouth! Terrible! So there ya go.. Crappy food, crappy service. It has to be illegal to not give money back for a product the customers do not want.. i paid $20 and didnt even eat a fraction of it.. I ate a small bit of the egg fried rice that wasnt aweful.. But this was a complete waste of money and times are tough right now during winter season*! I will never go back, EVER. Just know that they will NOT give you money back, only STORE CREDIT she says. If their food is gross and customer doesnt like it, why the hell would they use store credit?? Absolutely unacceptable and not professional at all.

I live across the street from #1, and my only compliant is that they are making me fat. I have eaten a lot of Chinese takeout in my time, but this place is the best. That nice lady behind the counter is so nice and never stops smiling. The place is wide open, not cramped like some, and the art is actually nice. No tacky lucky cats here. The prices and portion sizes are great. Its right in sight of another Chinese place, a pricey buffet, ignore the buffet. Go to #1 Chinese.

I have eaten Chinese food from MANY places in 7 states and 5 countries, and this place has by far the WORST combination fried rice i have ever had. I cant fathom how with 3 different types of meat, vegetables and spices, you can make a combination fried rice turn out bland, but they succeeded. Walmart has better fried rice from their frozen section. Their bourban chicken was good, sweet and sour chicken was ok.

This is my go to Chinese take out location. The family who runs it is friendly and the food is always good takeout. I’ve ordered pickup and in the restaurant and they’re generally quick in preparation and the food is always good. The place seems clean and well run. I’ve gone other places and cannot say the same for those places so I stick with No 1.

Horribly rude! Called and ask if they deliver as Im from Alabama and dont know my way around here. They lady tells me "No we dont deliver". I tell her okay thank you, and start to hang up. She says "I guess your not to hungry if your to lazy to come pick it up". WTF! Really!! And now after reading the other reviews Im glad I didnt order here.

The best chinese food in east panama city I eat here sometimes twice a day delicious food, Mountain Dew, and the walls have mirrors with the best view panama city has, myself eating!
