Seriously people? I see a 3.5-star rating on this place. I guess none you’ll peoples know what’s a real Chinese food taste like, giving it a high score. I know, it only Chinese Buffet in Bartow you can sit and eat for $7.25 which is not bad for the price, however, I can say, its healthier than eating at McDonalds for about the same price. I can recall that I ate at this place about twelve years ago, I couldnt remember if was good or bad, it been so long. On the way to Lakeland, a buddy of mine asked if this place was any good, but I couldn’t tell him yes or no, it been so long ago. So, we stop in, and to my surprise, I never saw the smallest buffet selection in any others Chinese place I’ve been. Beef doesn’t taste like Beef; I don’t even know what it is. The chicken tasted old like it was yesterday reused, and Pork, don’t taste like pork. After putting few bites into my mouth, it then brought back memories. Now I could recall and remember this place was a horrible place to eat, my friend even also agrees. We barely ate, everything was off taste, spice, meat quality. I was disappointed wondering how this place still open and operate for so long. And the cup of water we both order, they gave us dirty city faucet water. Trust me; this came from two Asian guys writing this review. If you have to eat Chinese food in Bartow, go to Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant, next to the subway, it’s much better-quality food there. If you want to taste a real authentic chinese food, head to Lakeland restaurant called "Peaking House" on S. Florida Ave, next to South gate shopping plaza, I been eating there for 20 years plus, and youll understand why. Sorry, I have to give one star for this place. "Truly Nasty Food."

DONT GO JUST BEFORE CLOSING AND REGRET IT... I Ordered a bourbon chicken dish, the oil was old... Made my throat itch so bad! Made me sick! The wonton soup tasted like it was microwaved, (the meat tastes bad). The lady had no clue that I knew a little Chinese/ Mandarin.... She was practically cussing me out in Chinese... She was pissed off at the fact that I ordered 15 mins before their closing time... When she realized I can speak a little Chinese.... She stopped talking all together... Her children were nice, which was the only reason why I didnt throw the food in her face and leave. IF YOU GET ANNOYED BY CUSTOMERS, THEN SHUT THE HELL DOWN AND DO SOMETHING ELSE!

This place has horrible customer service they over charged my credit card and had the nerve to get upset with me when I asked them about the over charged. The woman that is part owner of the restaurant was very rude and disrespectful towards me and I will never order anything else from them again... Im so disappointed with the service I received from them...

By far the worst Chinese food Ive ever ate, first i had to order over $20 of food to be delivered to my hotel, then after paying 30$ and another 5 for a tip i got in my room n out of 2 dinners and one appetizer i threw it aaaaaall away even tge fortune cookies were stale and nasty i would give zero stars if possible!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE

Didnt bring everything I ordered and what I did get wasnt very good. I mistakenly gave them another chance, NEVER AGAIN!!! The lady on the phone was very rude and the food was absolutely disgusting, inedible. Pretty sure the crab in the crab rangoon was bad. This place should be shut down!!!

They have good food and its surprisingly affordable but I ordered chow mein twice online for pick and they gave me rice instead and I didnt notice until I got home but other than that its all right and I love the fact its only half a mile from where I live.

Aside from hibachi buffet this is the only Chinese food I eat at. By choice. I do not like what I usually order anywhere else. This place may be small and may not look like a 5 star restaurant but the food is deffinately 5 stars, every time.

If you want fancy, go somewhere else. If youre hungry, go here. My office has been getting lunches from these folks for years. Always good, healthy portions, amazing price. I order on the app and theyre bagging it when I get there.

Always delicious, but is getting a little expensive on their prices. When I first started coming here they had a lunch special that was $4.50 now 2 years later its almost $6 for that same lunch special, a little disappointing

You will be pleased. Id give it a 5 but it is not exceptional. It is very good and pretty affordable. Basically your run of the mill chinese food restaurant, you cant go wrong, unless you are just a moron or something.

Chicken with broccoli was good. Shrimp with lobster sauce was not. It was shrimp in a sort of soup. Very runny. Sauce is an exaggeration.
